Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as we already care for multiple dogs at home. We follow a structured schedule for feeding, exercise, and supervision throughout the day. Our schedule allows me to provide consistent care during mornings, midday, and evenings, ensuring that each dog receives the attention and routine they’re used to.

Safety is our top priority. We carefully follow each owner’s instructions and keep pets in a calm, secure, and safe environment. Dogs are always supervised, comfortable, and separated when needed to ensure a safe stay. We both pay close attention to behavior, surroundings, and any potential risks so every dog is well cared for at all times and stays safe. In a client’s home, we respect their space and maintain their pet’s normal routine to keep things consistent and comfortable. We also have a fully fenced yard for safe, supervised outdoor playtime. ⚠️ Both of us carefully manage introductions and group size to ensure a safe and controlled environment for every dog.

It’s also important to understand their temperament, how they interact with other dogs, and any triggers or anxieties (for safety). Information about any medications, allergies, or training commands is helpful as well. The more we know in advance, the better we can provide a safe, consistent, and comfortable experience. 😊
A typical day
A typical day in our home is safe and tailored to each dog’s needs. Dogs are provided fresh water, regular meals, and supervised time in my fully fenced yard for exercise and play. We'll adjust the day based on each dog’s energy level, high-energy dogs will get structured activity and engagement, while more relaxed dogs will enjoy a calmer, low-stress environment with plenty of attention. Throughout the day, we will monitor behavior closely to ensure all dogs are comfortable and safe, w'll provide regular updates so you always know how your dog is doing. 🐾

With 40 years of hands-on dog experience including medication administration, large breed handling, and senior dog care — your dog is in the most experienced hands in the Prattville area! 🐾 We provide a safe and structured environment while maintaining space, consistency, and supervision for your dogs. We're very comfortable handling larger and more powerful breeds as well as small dogs and puppies. We focus on making every dog feel calm, secure, and stress-free. Dogs in our care are treated as a family member. We follow each dog's routine closely and adjust the day based on their type of energy level, whether that means a more structured activity or a more relaxed setting. We have 5 wonderful neutered male dogs at home who love meeting new friends! For the safety and comfort of all dogs in our care we do require all visiting dogs to be spayed or neutered. This keeps the environment calm, safe and happy for everyone! All services provided are opened to dogs of all sizes that do well in a home environment. When booking boarding or doggy day-care, please bring: their regular food (pre-portioned if possible), medications (if needed), and optionally comfort items (bed, blanket, toy). 😊 🐾You'll receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you will always feel confident and safe while your dog is with us, we will stay connected throughout the stay. ⚠️ Important Notes: • only well-socialized, non-aggressive dogs (for safety reasons) • Dogs should be current on vaccinations for everyone's safety • Safety and proper management are always the top priority
