Need a Fur-Baby Sitter?
Pet care experience
I grew up on a small farm, caring for a variety of furry friends! I have experience with several breeds: German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Australian Cattle Dogs, Pitbull Terriers, Border Collies, Labradors, Retrievers, Corgis, Beagles, Australian Shepherds... even the little ones (Chihuahua, Min Pin, Dachshund, etc)! I've been a professional canine caregiver since July 2016 - and I strive for satisfaction with my clients and their pups! I'm a home body, so most of the time I will be at home and keeping your pup company. Unfortunately I cannot provide services from my residence, but I'm more than happy to walk your fur-baby, let them out to run around, play / cuddle with them, and generally make sure they are happy and healthy in your home. Each dog is treated as though he / she were my own... and their owners should have the peace of mind that their pup is in good, loving hands!
Reviews
Anne is caring and treats our pups like they’re her own. I know my dogs enjoy when she’s at the house. It’s a relief not to worry about our animals while we are out of town.
The best sitter!
Anne is just the best! She takes such great care of all our pets and is so reliable!
Another wonderful sitting by Anne!! I love the pictures she sends me and gives wonderful updates!!

~ Care and Safety ~ I love being able to care for dogs in their own homes. We play, we snuggle, we have fun... I'm happy to train on the basics or brush them per request. =) They might also get a little human food if I have some to share (unless they have sensitive tummies or allergies). I'm also happy to reinforce rules that you have in place (no people food, no getting on furniture, whatever your house rules happen to be). I prefer to let dogs play in their own yard, to minimize contact with elements that may be unfamiliar to them (strangers, children, other dogs, etc) or unsafe (cars, wild animals, discarded food, etc). I do not do off-leash walks, purely as a safety precaution. That said, I am very happy to take your pups out for walkies! Just let me know if they have any triggers or what safety measures are in place so that they can enjoy themselves.
Information Anne V. would like to know about your pet
Breed Preferences: I love German Shepherds, Australian Cattle Dogs, Corgis, and Mini Australian Shepherds especially. =) I prefer big dogs in general, to be honest. I'm happy to take in any breed, though! Questions: ~ Are they aggressive towards other dogs, cats, or people (especially children)? ~ Are they house-trained? ~ Are they food aggressive? ~ Can they be destructive? ~ Any habits you do NOT allow from them (furniture, human food, etc)? ~ Any special feeding instructions? ~ Any known allergies? ~ Any medical conditions to be aware of? ~ Do they get car-sick, or have any issues riding in the car? For 2 or more Dogs: ~ Can they be walked together, OR do they need to be walked separately? ~ Can they eat together, OR should they eat separately? ~ How is each dog different in personality / temperament? Favorites: ~ Treats / Flavors ~ Toys / Activities ~ Places to Sleep
A typical day
~ Happy Tails ~ I love taking pictures of them while we're out on walks, posing them near flowers / ferns or lawn ornaments. I try to engage the dogs I care for in some kind of play - tug-of-war, throw the ball / stick, or even just some playful rough-housing. If they are well-socialized, I may bring them to a pet store to walk around and (maybe) pick out something they want.

Availability
~ Schedule ~ I'm currently between jobs and looking for work-from-home positions so I can keep watching fur-babies. As such, I don't have much of a set schedule. I go to the gym 2-3 times / week, and I keep my days as open as possible to accommodate my clients. When I don't need to be anywhere, though, I spend my downtime with dogs; sittings take top priority, but I try to give my walk and drop-in dogs as much love, attention, and cuddles as I can give when I'm in their homes.
