Thanks so much for looking after Luna and for keeping us updated of her amazing adventures. Will definitely use you again and recommend to others!

We dropped our dog off with Anne prior to a long weekend in Dublin. Anne was relaxed and flexible when our flight was delayed, which was lovely and took the pressure off us. At the drop off, Anne was very friendly and you could clearly tell she knew dogs very well. Throughout our trip, Anne communicated clearly and sent us regularly updates which was lovely! And again was flexible once our flight back was also delayed! We then collected a dog who’d clearly had an excellent time based on the fact he now tries to pull towards Ann’s house at every opportunity! We’re grateful to Anne for the care she’s given and would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Safety, trust & environment

I’m an academic at the University and feel very lucky to live in a spacious home with a secure, fenced garden close to the University and the beautiful Duryard Valley nature reserve — perfect for walks and outdoor time. I live with my 17-year-old daughter, who will also be at home over the holiday period studying for her A-levels. She absolutely loves dogs and will be delighted to spend time playing with your furry friend in the garden. We’ll be home throughout the summer and would love to welcome one guest dog into our home. We have a sweet miniature poodle who can be a little shy at first, but soon warms up, loves to play, and happily sleeps on my bed. To make sure every dog gets lots of attention and care, we only take one additional dog at a time. If needed, I’m also happy to crate your dog overnight at your request.

A typical day

We love having dogs around and genuinely enjoy making sure they feel happy, relaxed, and well cared for, with plenty of walks, playtime, and company. We’re lucky to live near the University’s beautiful grounds as well as the more wild and scenic Duryard Valley nature reserve, giving your dog lots of lovely places to explore, sniff, and enjoy new adventures.

Please do let me know if your dog has any special needs, routines, or particular behaviours that would be helpful for me to be aware of, so I can make sure they feel as comfortable and settled as possible. My preference is for smaller breeds, as these tend to suit our home environment well and are especially enjoyed by our much-loved miniature poodle.
