Loving home is ready for your pet!
I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and have had dogs as part of my family since I was a child. Most recently, I’ve cared for our own dog for the past 13 years, giving me experience with every stage of life—from energetic puppy years to the special needs of senior dogs. In addition to caring for our own pets, I’ve welcomed dogs belonging to family, friends, and neighbors into our home. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and activity levels, and I understand that every dog has unique routines and needs. Your dog will be treated like part of our family in our clean, smoke-free home. We have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and our dog-friendly children love helping give pets plenty of attention, affection, and companionship. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment so you can feel confident your dog is well cared for while you’re away.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into our family’s daily routine. My husband works from home, so there’s almost always someone around during the day to provide companionship, potty breaks, and attention. In the evenings, our family is typically home together, so visiting dogs become part of our daily life and receive plenty of love and attention. We have a newer home built in 2019 in Oregon. We have a fenced in yard and wood floors throughout our home. We have 3 children (11, 9, and 7) who are excited to love on your pet! I work as a nurse practitioner and my husband is in medical sales.

I know every dog is different, so I take the time to learn about each pet’s routine, personality, and preferences before their stay. I closely follow your instructions for feeding, medications, exercise, potty breaks, and any special care your dog may need.

A typical day
In our care, dogs will be able to go for walks and play in our fenced in yard. We will find them a cozy place to sleep at night based on their usual routine.

- Because we have a senior dog and three children of our own, we’re especially mindful of creating a calm, comfortable environment for everyone. We’re happy to welcome playful pups, but dogs who are very high-energy or need a lot of constant activity may be more comfortable in a home with fewer people and pets. We’re always happy to chat beforehand to make sure our home is a good fit for your dog’s personality, energy level, and needs! We also have wood floors throughout our home as an FYI.
