I have a spacious fenced yard where your fur baby can romp and play alongside my two friendly Chihuahuas if they like. There's also plenty of room inside the house for your baby to roam freely, just like mine. Your baby is welcome on the couch and in my bedroom. My retired mom, in her seventies but looks and acts like she’s in her 50s, will pitch in and shower your baby with love, attention, and care as well. She sleeps upstairs and can sleep with your baby if they prefer to be away from other dogs. *There are security cameras outside and inside the house, recording 24 hours a day to ensure everyone’s safety.*

Information Anne N. would like to know about your pet
I’m very committed to providing your baby a safe and positive experience so I like to know as much as I can about your baby to better serve him/her and you. Also, this is why I will require all furry guests coming into our care to show proof of vaccination status for the following: - Rabies - DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus) - Canine influenza - Bordetella (Kennel cough) I also require all of our furry guests to be on a monthly flea and tick medication. Please let me know any special requests you would like for your baby and we will do our best to make sure your fur baby is as comfortable as they can be.
A typical day
Beyond yard time, a scenic half-mile walkway encircles the lake just behind my house, offering the perfect setting for daily strolls. Late afternoon, I'll take your baby for a leisurely walk along this path, allowing them to “read the newspaper" while getting some fresh air. As the sun sets, either just my mom or both of us will team up to take your baby for an additional evening stroll around the lake, ensuring they get ample exercise. Regular potty breaks in the backyard are, of course a part of the daily routine. To keep your pet mentally stimulated, I'll engage them in games of fetch and provide a dog puzzle toy filled with healthy treats that will challenge and entertain them. Amidst these activities, there will be plenty of affectionate petting, soothing conversations, and even some paw holding. Rest assured, your baby will never be alone; a human companion will be present at all times. My fur babies are my constant shadow, following me from room to room and your baby will receive the same level of companionship and attention during their stay with us.

Pet care experience
Hi there, my name is Anne. I recently relocated here from the East Coast to be with my fiancé. As a stay-at-home furry mom who works part-time and from home, I have ample time to play with and shower your fur child with love, just like I do with mine. My fiancé also works from home, and my retired mom lives with us, so your baby will never be alone. There will always be someone in the same room with your baby, most likely sitting next to them. =) My animal experience: I’ve had dogs since elementary school and have never been without a canine companion since. Throughout high school and college, I expanded my pet care experience by babysitting various animals for church members, including dogs, rabbits, mini pigs, and birds. I also volunteered at the local animal’s shelter for 18 months when I was in my late twenties. I have had experience with puppies, senior dogs, and handicapped dogs in the past as well, so I am confident in my ability to care for them. Also, my fiancé is experienced in dog training and therapy work, and we currently share our home with two rescued Chihuahuas. We are both well versed in dog CPR, medication administration, and wound care. Our top priority is to provide a safe and positive experience for your furry baby while you are away. We ensure a secure, clean, and organized environment where your pet will feel relaxed, happy, and protected. * For new Rover customers - please use promo code ANNEQ60631 for a sweet $20 discount! =)
Reviews
I work from home so my Scottie is used to having someone constantly around him. I had a wedding in CA and left him with Anne for 8 days. I hit the jackpot when one of my clients gave me Anne’s number! Anne is phenomenal with dogs and has the perfect home setting for my spoiled baby. She is very good at communication and consistently sent me pictures a videos. The cherry on top is when Scottie whined for “grandma,” Anne’s mom as we were leaving. She is incredibly sweet. I highly recommend Anne and her!
Anne is such a gem! I met her through our church group and feel so blessed to have found someone who can take care of my little Misty the way I take care of her. Anne’s mom and fiancé are sweethearts and their little chichis are so adorable and friendly too. I almost want to gatekeep Anne in fear she may get too busy for my little Misty but Anne is a gem and deserves the 10 stars if I could give that.
I was the one who encouraged Anne to join a platform like Rover, convinced that the dog parent community would greatly benefit from someone of her caliber. From our first meeting, it was clear that my 4-year-old Maltese had found a special connection with Anne and her mother. With Anne's home-based work, she can provide abundant time for play, affection, and the attentive care my little one needs. It's a rare pleasure to encounter someone whose love for dogs is so evident in their dedication and zest. The tranquility I felt, knowing that my baby was not only being supervised but actively engaged with and lovingly tended to, was priceless. And Anne's mother, affectionately known as "grandma" to the dogs, is an absolute sweetheart and so adorable. Her natural ability to make dogs (and people) feel cherished and spoiled is so precious. She lavished my baby with such care that I half-joked all the time that my pup might prefer living with them! Together, Anne and her mom form an incredibly endearing team. It was a sad day for us when they relocated to Houston, and their absence is deeply felt. I wholeheartedly endorse their services. For anyone in search of a dependable, affectionate dog sitter who fosters a warm and loving environment, your search ends with them.
