I always follow each pet owner’s preferences, whether I’m doing drop-in visits or caring for a dog in my home. I understand how important it is to keep things consistent, so I stick closely to their routine and instructions. If a dog is boarding with me and I need to step out, I’m comfortable leaving them out or using a kennel (whatever they’re used to and what works best for them). I make sure pets feel as comfortable as possible, especially at night. They’re welcome to sleep near me or in my bed if that’s what they’re used to, but I always follow the owner’s preferences (if they have their own bed or routine, I stick to that so everything feels familiar). I also have a fully fenced yard, which is great for safe outdoor time and bathroom breaks. I always supervise and make sure dogs are secure and comfortable in the space. Overall, I focus on creating a calm, safe environment and adjusting to each pet’s needs so they feel at home and well cared for.

A typical day with me includes lots of attention, play, and outdoor time. I take dogs to the park often (if that’s something the owner is comfortable with), play fetch, and keep them engaged with toys and treat puzzles. They’ll get a whole lot of affection ☺️ and a calm, caring environment.

I’m a loving and attentive dog sitter who has always had a natural connection with animals. I enjoy being outdoors and going on walks, whether it’s with my own dog or the dogs I care for. I also have experience caring for dogs with specific health needs, including administering medication and paying close attention to routines and small details that make a big difference in their comfort and well-being. This has made me very observant and responsive to each dog’s unique needs. I’m confident following any instructions you provide and can help reinforce routines or basic training, such as recall using treats and positive reinforcement. I make sure every pet in my care feels safe, loved, and well looked after, and I treat every animal as if they were my own.

We hired Anne-Marie to look after our two dogs and cat while we went on vacation. We were so pleased with how well she looked after our crazy crew. Our dogs can be a handful, especially as they’re not great on leashed walks. Anne-Marie took them to the dog park regularly, in addition to walking them, and got them on a great routine. We very much appreciated her confidence and patience with them. Additionally, our cat is a “tri-pawd” and requires assistance getting to her food bowl and a few other things. Anne-Marie was more than happy to accommodate those special needs. She also deserves a gold star for making sure all the animals got equal attention, which my spouse and I find challenging even at the best of times. We also very much appreciated Anne-Marie’s reliability and always keeping in contact, sending pet photos and videos, etc. She is an absolutely wonderful pet sitter, and we can’t wait to hire her again.

Hello. I have known Anne-Marie for a few years and she is definitely a dog lover. She is my go to person if I need to have Lilly my MinPin taken care of whenever I need a sitter. As a truck driver there were many instances where I needed Anne to keep Lilly. Lilly is always happy to be with Anne and her dogs Kimshi and Marshall. They get along really good. She is a person who definitely puts her pets and others ahead of herself. I would not hesitate to suggest she is ready and great with sitting pets, especially dogs. Hopefully she can help you out.
