Pet care experience

Happy to care for your sweet pets!

Hi! I’ve been caring for pets for 10+ years and have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, chickens, and even farm animals. I grew up around many types of pets and am comfortable with animals of all sizes. I offer 30–60 minute drop-in visits for feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, potty breaks, playtime, and dog walking (including multiple dogs). I’m also experienced with administering medications, including injections when needed. For house sitting, I can also bring in mail, collect packages, water plants, manage deliveries or repair visits, and keep you updated while you’re away. If you’d like to meet beforehand or see reviews, feel free to reach out. 😊

I was really waiting to write this review because I wanted to give Anne the opportunity to refund me so I wouldn’t have to. But being someone who does pet care on my own, I would never want her in someone’s home. I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of regard for my home and my animal. I would like to start this by saying I sat down with her for an hour and discussed my expectations. Which were simple. Make sure he had food with water mixed and mashed in at all times and sleepover. I told her what treats he could have and even crushed them up so she could put them on his food if he was being weird about eating. My cat almost died in October and part of it was not eating due to a sickness. She knew this. She was three hours late and blamed it on medical appointment. However, she never communicated that. She briefly discussed her rabbit with me on our visit, but never did. I think she would bring them into my home. As soon as I got home, it smelled like pee. She told me my cat had peed on my bed, but there’s no way it would’ve caused that type of odor. It smelled like a farm. She did a terrible job of whatever cleaning job she was attempting to do to cover up what she had done. Upon looking in my dryer, my clothes which I had not worn were in there. She wore my clothes. Then she washed them with my bathroom rugs. Why would you be washing my bathroom rugs? The alarms in my head immediately started going off. Again, no communication of any type of accident or situation. Then she put my bedding in with the rugs and my clothes so my bedding is now ruined because it has lint all over it from the rugs. There was an inch of water left in my bathtub, and an entire roll of paper towel towels was used. What type of mess was cleaned up? She was only there for four nights. I immediately ran to the trash that she put outside, outside of the hours that I let her know she could put it out on the sheet I had taken the time to print out for her. I noticed kibble, my cat eats wet food, droppings of some sort, and hay mixed with corn. She actually brought her rabbits into my home without asking me. With my CAT. Who has never been around a rabbit. Do you know the kind of stress that probably put him under? His first time with me being alone this long, and this woman brings in a wild animal into our home. An animal that cats typically look at as prey. I couldn’t not write this review. If I don’t get refunded because Rover doesn’t do what’s right in the situation, I at least want to prevent anyone from inviting her into their home. She also let her rabbits eat my baseboard. It was still fresh when I touched it and wet. Poor rabbits too. There is so much disregard for both animals. She should be absolutely ashamed of herself. But did she enjoy the goodie basket I left her? Of course she did. Of course she ate the food. Of course she drank the liquor. I said she could drink. With not 1 ounce of guilt over what she was doing in my home. To top off her doing this, she didn’t even do a good job with my cat. I had to text her several times about feeding him. There was an instance where he had no food in his bowls and was licking the crumbs to try and eat. Thank God, I had a camera on his food. And the audacity that I was actually feeling bad and telling her I’m sorry I’m just wanting to make sure he eats, and she let me feel bad knowing that she was doing something doubly as awful. That is actually scary. She then had her boyfriend in my home after she said she wouldn’t because he’s allergic to cats. I just can’t deal with the amount of disrespect that was exhibited for my home. Thankfully, my neighbor across the hall a ring camera. I will be using every ounce of evidence. I have to make sure she does not sit a single pet again.

Anne did a great job on the drop in visit with Dudley. She gave him his food and took him out as I requested. She always responds promptly.

Anne is an absolute gem. She took amazing care of my doggo Rosy, was communicative, sent pics, and welcomed Rosy into her pack. It is such a relief to find someone you can trust to take care of your fur family. I couldn’t recommend Anne more. If I could give more stars on this app, I absolutely would!!

Anne was amazing! She kept us updated the entire time we were away(we never had to ask for an update.), which made us feel so comfortable. Our dog had the best time beach trips, walks, swimming, and even visits to pet friendly restaurants. She been completely wiped out since we got home 😂 Clearly had the best time. Thank you so much, Anne!
