I’m currently retired so while I like to keep busy with various activities, I have lots of time to walk and take care of dogs- am rarely away from home for more then 2-3 hours.

If your dog has any special needs or behaviours you think I should be aware of, I would appreciate knowing these. This is especially true if they are not great with kids-I have dog savvy grandkids that visit on occasion and I will plan accordingly.
A typical day
I am happy to chat with owner and stick closely to their routine if desired, but a typical day would include a good mix of indoor and outdoor time, with walks and snuggles as appropriate.

Quirky British lady who has been a pet owner for over half a century- be it dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils or birds. Enjoys spending time with dogs- both indoors and out.

We are so glad we found Anne as a new sitter for our 13 year old Westie Teddy! She took such great care of him while we were away over the Christmas holidays. We are so thankful for her flexibility in extending his stay for several days after we had two flight cancellations. Highly recommend Anne if you are looking for a dog sitter.
Anne took great care of my Yorkie. He in only four pounds and needs a little extra attention. Going away is a lot easier when I know he is well taken care of! Anne took him on lots of walks and allowed him on her bed and furniture. Her backyard porvided lots of space for him to run around. Anne loves dogs and I highly recommend her!
Anne is my Mum! She often looks after my two pups (as she calls them, her “granddogs”) when I am away. Anne is familiar with caring for dogs of various sizes, from my one sister’s teacup Yorkie to my other sister’s Sheepadoodle, and everything in between. Her own golden, Piper, recently passed at an impressive 15 years old, still enjoying regular walks, albeit slower ones. You can count on Anne to take your dog on a good romp each day through Bruce Pit or the Greenbelt or around the neighbourhood. She also has a good sized fenced-in yard. Anne has several grandchildren in the area who may very well meet and play with your dog and/or shower your dog with affection. If you want to give your pup the spoiled granddog experience, Anne is the pet sitter for you:)
