Availability
We are both home a lot, day and night. And we are big walkers too. One of us is an early bird, the other a night owl, so we can work with your pet's schedule. We have been known to get up for 3 a.m. feedings without complaint.

Please let us know whatever we can do to make your dog or cat's stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. We want you both to be carefree.
A typical day
We think the best days start with peeing in the alley! Then, after breakfast together and reading the paper (unless the paper scares you), we like to head out for a walk in the neighborhood: maybe we move at a brisk pace and get the heart rate up or go slow, stopping to sniff every bush and the breeze. You set the pace. And, no, we don't eat the street finds. Then, how does a long afternoon of napping sound? Do you like the couch? Come on up (if your people allow it)! Or try the bed! it's a king. On cool days, you can nap by the fire. Hope you can sleep with us taking pics and talking about how cute you are! If you'd like to play fetch or some other game, we're happy to oblige. And we will also take you out for an evening stroll around the neighborhood. Then maybe TV or some reading? Anne likes comedies, dumb procedurals and French novels. You'll have to stay up later to catch the news with John. We are dog pleasers and will be catering to you with walks, toys, and treats. We hope all the attention doesn't get tiresome. And don't worry, we can take a hint if you want us to leave you alone.

Hi! We miss our animal companions. Until we find another forever friend of our own, we would love to care for your dog (or cat) while you're away. We are grown-ups, each with a lifetime of experience with dogs and cats. We're home a lot, and we have time to hang out with and walk your pet. We are fine and familiar with senior citizens and sensitive souls. That said, we would happily care for an uncomplicated animal. We're in it for love more than money. We are mature reasonable people who will take good care of your pet. We're also good communicators. And big walkers!
