Availability
I’m currently working part-time and actively looking for full-time work, which gives me a flexible and open schedule. That flexibility allows me to prioritize pet care—whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays. I love having the time to focus on giving dogs the attention they deserve. Spending time with animals is not just something I enjoy—it brings structure, purpose, and joy to my day. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and because I’m not juggling a rigid 9-to-5, I can be available during off-hours, weekends, and holidays when others might not be. Whether it's a quick walk around the block or a multi-day stay, I'm able to adapt my week around the needs of the pets I’m caring for—and I take that responsibility seriously.

Safety, trust & environment
When staying in a client’s home, I aim to keep routines consistent—walks at familiar times, meals in their usual spot, and lots of affection in their own space. I keep the home clean and secure, and always send regular updates and photos to give owners peace of mind. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who needs lots of exercise or a senior dog who just wants a cozy nap, I adjust my care to meet their needs—with patience, respect, and lots of love.
Information Anne D. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if they take medications, if there’s any problem behaviors I need to watch out for (ex. runs away), and what their daily routine looks like.
A typical day
I go on sniff-filled walks, play fetch and tug, practice tricks, enjoy backyard adventures, share quiet cuddles, explore new routes, and celebrate happy tail wags and goofy joy.

Pet care experience
I've cared for mostly dogs (with a cat or bird thrown in there) countless times, starting when I was 14. I've cared for the animals of friends, extended family, and neighbors. While most of my experience is with small adult dogs (Shih Tzu, Pomeranian, Shiba Inu, Jack Russell Terrier, Chihuahua Terrier mix, Havanese), I have also worked with a few larger breeds (English Springer Spaniel, Boxer, Golden Doodle) and three older dogs. I've had up to three (small) dogs stay at my house simultaneously while the owners were on vacation. I've also made numerous daily visits. Most of my experience is just giving a simple walk. I've had the big, energetic dogs that require three long walks a day, plus extra playtime. I've also done overnight sitting, staying over at the owner's house with the dog for a combined month (spread out over a few months). I was the primary caretaker of our family dogs (small dogs), bathing and grooming them regularly. One of our dogs had a skin condition, so I was also accustomed to using a combination of medical shampoo/ conditioner treatments. As they aged, I also started preparing specialty foods, giving medication, and administering insulin.
Reviews

Anne always does a great job with our two special needs dogs. It's a relief to travel with peace of mind that they are in such good hands.
Anne did a great job taking care of my two dogs while we were out of town for a week. They warmed up to her really quickly and I would use her again in the future

Anne took great care of Pooh while we were gone. She sent detailed updates and pictures of their walks. We came home to a happy dog. I appreciate her reliability and her willingness to take on a last minute sitting request. We had a great experience with Anne.

Anne spent a week housesitting our dog. He got plenty of exercise, our house was well cared for and she did a great job communicating. We will be using her again later this month.
