Services
Anne can care for
Availability
Early mornings and early evenings during the week. (Up by 5, asleep by 10) Morning care, afternoon visits during my lunch hour and evenings together. Homebody on the weekends with a couple hours extra sleep and a couple hours later into the evening hanging out. In home care at the dogs parents house is preferred, as I am unable to host dogs at my house. Within a 5-10 mile radius of my work for ease of afternoon visits. Can adapt my routine (to the best of my ability) to your family routine to cause as little disruption to the dogs life as possible.

Unfortunately I am unable to host dogs at my home but am happy to take em on field trips to their hearts desire! I value routine, cleanliness, and minimal disruptions to the daily grind.
Information Anne D. would like to know about your pet
Special needs and/or owner/pet preferences are of top priority. Routine is incredibly important to the lives of animals and I do everything I can to ensure fur babies have as little interruption to their day in day out as possible. Communication is key and never be too shy to ask for any specific accommodations.
A typical day
Critter watching, flower smelling, and stick examining are all things I tend to have in common with dogs. Peaceful walks, goofy playtime or afternoon naps. Love to find dog friendly trails a bit outside of the city to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Pet care experience
Will run em til they're plumb tuckered, cuddle em til they're sound asleep and spoil em with hugs and kisses til they can take no more. Young pups and old dogs welcome alike. Active dogs with the attention span for runs (being a runner myself) highly preferable. Weekend hikes are a match made in heaven.

Anne also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

Annie did an amazing time with Disco. She was very communicative and checked in multiple times a day. Strongly recommend Annie!
I have known Anne for over 10 years, first as her instructor at Metropolitan Community College and later as my studio art assistant. Beyond her professional capabilities, she has been our go-to house and pet sitter for our dog, Pete, and my daughter’s cat, Agnes. Anne is exceptionally responsible, trustworthy, and capable. She provides the kind of high-level care that allows you to be out of town with total peace of mind. She has my highest recommendation.
Annie is great! She took care of both of my dogs over the year and they loved her. She is communicative and helpful and loves animals. I trust her implicitly.
I've known Anne for many years. First as a student and after her graduation she pet sat for my 2 cats for a couple of years. One long trip I took, 2 weeks, she was able to stay in the house while I was gone which very much relieved my anxiety about leaving them alone for hours at a time. She knows my cats very well and I'm hoping will be able to sit for them for 2 upcoming trips. I trust Anne implicitly. She was very loving with my cats, played with them and she basically is a very good person. I highly recommend her.
