I have had dogs and cats all my life and am working toward making my passion and hobby my full time profession. While I do have a "day job", my hours are flexible, making it easy for me to take time during the day to drop in for feeding, medication, walks, potty breaks, play time and cuddles as well as all-night, in-your-home care for your precious pets. I specialize in dog safety, manners training and teach puppy manners and all 3 levels of Canine Good Citizen classes at the dog club where I train my own 3 dogs (German Shorthaired Pointers, all aged under 3 years). I believe in rules for my pets, but also believe that pets are cherished family members and should be cared for as such. I train my own dogs on a daily basis - I feel that every life situation is a training opportunity. I also do sport activities with my dogs - lure coursing, dock diving, etc. and am working on scent training and nosework. My oldest dog holds her CGC, CGCA, CGCU, CA, DJ and DS titles. My 2nd dog holds her CGC, CGCA, CGCU and CA titles. My puppy just passed her S.T.A.R Puppy evaluation and is on to manners proofing before we move on to CGC, etc. with her. A title is not just a brag point for me. To me, a title is embodied by the time that I have spent with my dog doing something that we both love to do. When it comes to training, I believe that I should adjust my approach and training methods to the dog that shows up - every dog is different, their needs are different - one method cannot be a blanket cover for every dog. I love being out with an active dog but I am also happy to flop on the couch (or floor!) and cuddle with a pup as well! I am committed to being actively engaged with my dogs and raising them to be happy, well socialized, well adjusted members of the canine community and hope that I can help you do the same.

Anne went above and beyond while watching my pups! I cannot recommend her enough. I feel very fortunate to have found her and will have her watch my pets again.
Anne was great with the dogs, sent us photo updates throughout the stay, and left our house cleaner than when she arrived! She even taught us a thing or two about how to train our pups. Highly recommend.

In one word Anne is simply AMAZING! I had met with Anne in my home about a month before my trip to get to know her, and for her to get to know me and my dogs. Anne came over in a snowstorm and was here for well over an hour as we went over the dogs, their needs and what to expect. The day of my trip I left and Anne had come over to my home in the evening and took excellent care of my pups all weekend long. It is especially nice having a sitter come to my home and take care of my pups in the space they know and love. Anne provided me with pictures and status updates all weekend and even stayed with the pups until Noon on Sunday even after I told her she could go home in the morning as I would be arriving home in the afternoon. I swear I arrived home to find my house cleaner than when I left it. I am sure that Anne took very good care of my pups while I was away and am anxious to re-book her in the future. I also really loved the cute mason jar she left full of homemade dog treats she makes in her home. If you need dog sitting in your home or even in hers please book with Anne. Having people like her that are willing to come to your home and take care of your babies while you are away is a god send and I wish I would've found her years ago as now I can do more travelling and not have to worry about finding dog friendly accommodations and other essentials for them. I am so excited to see what the future brings now that I have someone that loves all dogs; not just my own as much as me. A+++++++
Anne is wonderful! She's is knowledge, easy to work with, and best of all cares about my pups! She will always be my go-to.
