I am a teacher living in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood and summer break affords me flexibility to take care of your fur baby during the week & most weekend days. My weekend schedule changes but my calendar will reflect that well in advance.

Safety, trust & environment
First and foremost, I respect all animals' level of comfort, especially when meeting for the first time, and let them set the tone when it comes to building a bond. I'm meticulous in following directions from pet parents, including dispensing medications as well as continuing basic behavioral trainings (such as discouraging leash pulling, jumping, etc ... I would NOT consider myself an animal behaviorist though!).

Information Anne B. would like to know about your pet
Please provide any special tips for dogs who need a little guidance when it comes to good manners, medications, activity restrictions. WALKS/DROP-INS/HOUSE-SITTING: Please note that if your first booking is for a nighttime visit/walk/start of house-sitting, I require a short meet and greet beforehand (digital or in person) for safety reasons, as I do not feel comfortable going into unfamiliar homes/neighborhoods for the first time after dark. If the first booking is for sometime during the day and subsequent ones are at night, I feel comfortable doing that without a meet and greet. HOUSE-SITTING: must be in my radius so I can make sure to spend a few hours per day with my cats while being able to give your dog/cat the full attention it deserves in your absence (and not spend a ton of time driving!). Because I do not have an office commute, it is very easy to balance the time. BOARDING: cats only as I have two cats who don’t like dogs. I have had foster cats before and my cats have always been friendly and social with them. I can board up to two cats but request a short meet and greet at my place beforehand to get the cats familiar with each other. I have an extra litter box so I can provide that or, if your cat prefers, you can bring your own.
A typical day
We’d go around the neighborhood and the nearest park or trail. I’d run the dog if that’s ok and play fetch. I also provide words of affirmation as I believe all dogs / cats deserve to know how precious and perfect they are.

Pet care experience
I’m an active person who has cat/dog walked/run/sat for years! I’m reliable, punctual, and always let animals take their time to get to know me before I come in with the snuggles. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes and medical needs. A pet’s safety and comfort is my top priority. Maximum of 2 dogs for walking please. If you’d like your dog taken on a run or to spend time at a park, I’d be happy to do that! I’m very active and would love to help get your pupper blissfully tired so that you come home to a happy, healthy, and calm dog. I grew up with dogs and have two cats so home checks for either animal are something I’m comfortable with. I work from home so I have a great deal of flexibility when it comes to timing.
Reviews

Anne was great! She was always punctual and communicative and we really appreciate her help and flexibility watching our pup. She even took our pup to her favorite bakery!

Anne was great with our two dogs and cat. She was easy to communicate with and flexible when our flight home was delayed. We'd absolutely book her for house sitting again! We really appreciate her.

Anne has taken care of our dog Madison multiple times. She is super reliable and great at communicating.

Anne was fantastic! Communicative, punctual, sweet to my pup. Def would request her again!
