I've been a pet parent myself for my entire life. Growing up on a hobby farm in rural Ohio, I cared for just about every kind of animal you can imagine! Horses, goats, rabbits, dogs, cats, turtles...you name it, I've taken care of them all! Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their fur-babies for as long as I can remember, and today I'm the proud mom to three cats, two of whom have special needs. After bringing a new kitten into our home during lockdown, a lack of proper socialization proved to be a roadblock but with patience and consistency, he's grown confident and friendly, even in stressful or crowded situations. I am very experienced with senior pets and am very comfortable administering medications per your instructions (oral only, no injections, please). I'll be sure to bring a gentle demeanor that will put your babes at ease, especially those who are skittish or need an extra-loving touch! Got a less-than-outgoing kitty at home? Cats who take a while to warm up are my favorites to work with.

Safety, trust & environment
I can be reliably reached by text or phone call at any time of day, and while I'm in your home I will send photos and updates so you're always in the loop! I'm a very mindful houseguest and will keep your home tidy and clean up after your fur-babies. If late-night dog walking services are requested, my partner may accompany me on walks for an extra level of security. I do not currently offer boarding services in my own home. However, should an emergency arise during a drop-in visit where, for a pet's safety, they would need to be housed temporarily in my own home, I will do everything in my power to make sure this is possible.

Anne continues to do a fantastic job taking care of our two cats. She has such a positive attitude and genuine love of animals. Anne has also been fantastic handling different cat personalities and is unphased by one of our cats who is not super friendly. I cannot recommend Anne enough!

I absolutely loved having Anne watch my cats! Right from the start, her incredibly friendly and warm energy put me completely at ease. The daily updates she provided while I was away were a highlight. Anne doesn't just send a standard check-in; she crafts concise yet wonderfully vivid recounts of her visits that read exactly like the pages of a storybook. Paired with the fantastic pictures she takes of their time together, it felt like I was following my cats along on a beautifully documented little adventure. I couldn't recommend her enough for anyone looking for a thoughtful, engaging, and top-tier sitter.

Schedule
My day-job is remote and flexible, so I can work around most scheduling needs! I am around both weekdays and weekends, however evenings can be iffy so feel free to reach out to me and I'll do my best to fit your fur-babe into my schedule. I plan my weekly calendar at least a week in advance, so I prefer advance bookings whenever possible, especially for new clients (new clients require at least three days advance notice, so that we may schedule a meet & greet before the first visit). At this time, I am not accepting new clients for repeat weekly visits. Please feel to reach out for vacation bookings and one-off walks or drop-ins! Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have additional questions regarding my services and rates (ex. multiple pet rates).

- Let me know if your pet has any special needs or specific preferences that I can prepare for. Does your cat tend to throw up their food after meals? I'm on it (so does mine). Just let me know where the cleaning supplies are and you'll come home to a squeaky clean space and a happy fur-baby.
