First, on a personal note, Regardless of whether you hire us or another sitter, we HIGHLY suggest that all dog owners in the market for potential sitters (regardless of company), purchase and utilize at least one home surveillance camera to monitor their pet while they're away. Though pet sitting companies do their best to vet sitters, your pet is nothing short of precious, and constitutes the most that modern security can offer. Home surveillance cameras can assure your chosen sitter is competent and respectful to both your pet/s and home. As lifelong animal welfare advocates, there is nothing more concerning to Anne and I than the thought of animals in abusive or neglectful hands - which, unfortunately, was the case with both of our own rescue dogs before they blessed our lives by finding their way into our hearts and home. We feel pet owners should not feel uneasy about utilizing these cameras, as they can provide much needed peace of mind and assurance that their babies are being treated with the attention, care, and love they deserve. Requests with complete pet bios, current pet photos, and adequate information will get faster responses ABOUT US: We are a two-person team with ten years of professional experience in the pet industry. We can work separately as single sitters, or as a 2-person team at client's discretion. Either way, your pet will be treated as if they were nothing less than one of our own beloved pets. I'm a former PetSmart employee with 6 years experience pet/dog sitting; the most recent one being a client who has three big dogs, a cat, a rat, fish, a bird, and a chinchilla! I have heard so many stories of animal cruelty, and it breaks my heart how some people can be so mean to man's best friend, or animals in general. I hope to devote a portion of my life to giving back to all the animals that have brought so much joy into my life. JOAQUIN - Mature male who has worked at Villa La Paws Cage-Free Pet Resort and Spa for 8 years (not including Rover) and also as a published freelance writer and illustrator, contributing to such publications as Phoenix Dog Magazine, Phoenix Magazine, The Entertainer, and others. Before working with dogs, he spent 5 years in the health field as a Habilitation Assistant in a NorthEast Care group home for the severely mentally challenged, where his duties included: therapy, organizing outings, medication administration, driving a shuttle bus, etc. I do this full time. Animals are a huge part of our life. I willfully devote much of my time and energy to them since I first moved to Arizona in 2007. (Though I've rescued animals my entire life) Being a two-person team, we're able to switch sitters if need be and schedules allow with Anne's part time job.
