I'm a lover of play, exploration, rest, and relationship building -- with human and non-human creatures alike! I have 15+ years of experience tending to dogs of all sizes and temperaments, enjoy long walks as much as they do, and particularly enjoy sending photo updates to the families I sit for. I've been told I "play with dogs like they're [my] siblings" and that I'm both "a black cat and a golden retriever in spirit" -- all this to say, I get animals, and they get me. :)

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I like to learn an animal's routines and do my best to replicate them during a sit, so as not to cause any anxious critter more stress. I have a good track record for reading an animal's body language and know when to give cuddles, when to give space, and when to know something's "off" that needs more serious attention.
Ratings and reviews
AnnaMarie is excellent with dogs, she treats them with great care and respect and they seem to know right from the start they can trust her. She is very kind and dependable and is easy to communicate with. Our dogs always look forward to seeing her, from playing in the backyard or having some cuddle time or going for a long walk. She is able to give them whatever they need. AnnaMarie is our first choice anytime we need an extra hand caring for our pups.
Anna is the BEST dog person!!! Our precious Honey's very favorite person. She is responsible, trustworthy and a pure delight. She brightens the day of the humans and the pets. We have had Anna for day care and extended care; I trust her implicitly with our home and our pets. I have no hesitation heartily recommending her.

Schedule
I'm currently working in a university counseling center, supporting students of all ages through the transitions of their lives. This is a typical 9-5 job (with one remote day/week coming Spring 2027) -- so I'd pair well with animals that can do okay on their own during work hours.
