I'm currently a college student and take classes on monday/wednesday from 12pm-3pm and tuesday/thursday from 6pm-9pm. During those hours, I will not be available. I am happy to care for your pets anytime other than that, however, even on holidays!

Personally, I use free-feeding (there's always kibble in the bowl) and positive reinforcement with my pets. They're only allowed outside under supervision, I clean the litter boxes every other day, I play with them daily, and special treats are highly encouraged. Of course, other houses have different care plans, and I am flexible. I will never enter any areas of your home you have not given me permission to access unless it is an emergency, I will clean your house before leaving if it is an overnight stay, and I will always alert you via a text message when I enter or leave your home so that you know your pet is being looked after. If you have other requests regarding your pet and home, such as getting mail, watering plants, etc, I am more than happy to oblige.

For all services, I will ask for your and at least one other person's contact info for emergencies, to be left on a note in your home due to rover's terms of service restrictions. This is because Rover is known to glitch at times and not send notifications. I will also ask about any medical conditions they may have and your vet's info in case of a medical event. This is non-negotionable. I will also ask how many pets you have, their personalities, and their size. Per Rover rules, you must disclose any cameras in your home. I don't care if they are there, I just want to know so that I don't scratch my bum on camera. For walks, I would ask you what routes you normally take and use those, unless they are outside of my own physical ability (such as steep hikes, as my back isn't very good). I will also ask how they behave around new animals and people, and how strong they are (I will decline services if the dog is capable of yanking me to the ground for both their safety and mine). For non-sleep-in care, I will request a care list including diet, unique potty habits, whether they require a release command, and whether they have a habit of escape attempts. For sleep-in care, I will request a much more detailed list including all of the above information as well as average play time, any known commands, whether they are allowed outside or on furniture, their daily routine, what things and areas you personally would rather I stay out of, whether they experience separation anxiety, unique needs such as medication, and other such details. I will also ask how they behave around new people and pets, along with any known triggers (my own dog absolutely hates long strings such as shoelaces, for example). All of these things are to ensure that I give your pets the best possible care, and ensure that no mishaps or miscommunications happen.

Depending on your pets and their needs, I will adapt to whatever schedule they normally have. I can take them on walks, go to the park, and play inside with them. While I am not the most in-shape, I am more than capable of keeping them happy and healthy for as long as you need.

Call me Kat or Anna! I've been living with animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. From the age of 13, I have been taking care of my neighbours' and family friends' pets when they ask. I've got experience with rodents, lizards, cats, and dogs, but I'm not afraid to learn new animals! I've got particular experience with special needs pets, including post-surgery care, asthma, seniors, separation anxiety, leaky bladders, and daily oral/injection medication. I'm not squeamish around messes, smells, or loud noise. I've cared for nearly every personality out there, and whether your pet wants space, cuddles, or needs a bath, I'll help out for as long as you and your pets need, no matter how many or how weird they are!

Kat was such a wonderful caregiver to our cats while we were gone! Our big cat Serial is a jerk, but Kat was patient and undaunted by his attitude -- he even warmed up by the end, which he never does. Our little cat Nebula is extremely shy, but Kat still sent pictures of him in his hiding spot and tried to make him feel comfortable. Took great care of our house and was very thoughtful and thorough -- I will 100% book with Kat again
Kat is amazing! She took such great care of our cat Bob. Bob normally doesn’t warm up to people quickly, he’ll usually hide under the bed and not come out. Kat worked her magic and Bob was putty in her hands, purring and letting her give him belly rubs. I’d recommend her for you four legged kids care.
If your looking for a very responsible dog sitter, she is definetly it. We had Anne Marie over for over a week with our Yorkie. She updated us with texts, photos and videos of our dog and kept us up to date on how she was doing. She was always quick to respond to us if we asked any questions. Upon our arrival home, it was clean, our dog was happy and in great shape and we had little notes around the house from Anna telling us little stories of what game they did or where a ball might have ended up which we thought was very cute. We would absolutely recommend her to pet sit.
Anna has a natural connection to animals; even my grumpiest cat Cayenne will curl up at her feet. In the past 2 years, she has watched my pets 4 times over the weekends. I have a bit of a handful when it comes to pets: 3 cats and 2 dogs, and I was perfectly satisfied with the job she did each time. She is very capable of following exact directions given and I can confidently say that any animal she spends time with will be in good hands.
