Pet care experience
Full time pet sitter!
Hi, I’m Anna Maria! I’m a full-time student and lifelong animal lover who’s always surrounded by pets. I’ve rescued three cats and one dog of my own, and growing up, I had a greyhound who lived to almost 15. She taught me so much about patience, care for senior dogs, and how to stay calm with leash-reactive pups. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals who need a little extra love or understanding. I really enjoy getting to know their personalities, figuring out what makes them feel safe, and seeing them open up once they’re comfortable.

Safety, trust & environment
For the safety and comfort of your pet, please let me know any preferences or routines that are important to you. I understand how much peace of mind it brings to know your pet is comfortable when you’re not around. Sharing details about their personality helps me know what to expect and how best to support them. The more I know, the better I can make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for just like they do with.
Ratings and reviews
AnnaMaria was great! Our dog can be apprehensive with new people but he warmed up to her right away. Will definitely book her again!

AnnnaMaria was a fantastic sitter and we would be lucky to have her watch our dogs again. She took care of them like they were her own.

Excellent as always. 10/10

AnnaMaria is always so helpful when we are away! We appreciate her always being willing to hangout with Aspen ❤️ couldn’t recommend her more!

Sent plenty of pictures and helpful notes. Would definitely book her again.

Best dog sitters ever! 🥹 We have two rescue dogs, who have very unique needs. Haiku in particular we had a lot of anxiety about leaving, and this was our first time having an in home dog sitter for her. She has a somewhat severe case of anxiety, and requires a lot of work, actually being afraid of walks, people, everything really, and especially getting her to use the potty can be so hard because she is stubborn to do anything other than relax in her safe space after previous trauma she’d endured. Most dogs sitters turned us down after hearing about our dogs’ needs and no one else was able to do in home house sitting, and we weren’t even sure we’d be able to leave for the week to visit family. But Anna and Connor ended up being a god sent because not only were they able to house sit but after meeting Anna for the meet and greet I knew she would do a great job. They also must have done such a great job making Haiku comfortable and they were able to have some, what my partner and I would consider “wins” with her such as using the potty in the backyard which we are still working on. It seems like they even went above and beyond, using special feeders to see if she’d eaten and making special time for her to try to get her out of her shell and feeling comfortable/safe. I can stress enough this was no easy feat and leaving the dogs was my biggest stressor going away for a week, but with all Anna and Connor did for our dogs, it ended up being the least of my concerns, because my partner and I knew that our dogs were being treated with the most utmost care. In fact, Snoopy usually sleeps on the couch but was able to sleep in the guest bed while Anna and Connor were staying here so I think for that and other reasons their watching him was actually a treat for him, which is great because our Snoopy has attachment issues and used to really suffer from separation anxiety when I would leave. Not to mention (!) our flight was tragically cancelled in the middle of the night and Anna happened to be awake at 6am (lol) to immediately reassure us she would be able to care for the dogs an extra day while we were stuck in Colorado!!! What an amazing two dog sitters I can’t say enough I am flabbergasted lol. Anna sent me updates and pictures pretty much every day she was watching the pups, and her thorough communication and questions showed her thoughtfulness and care for the animals she watches. I can’t recommend these two enough and if we even travel again I will be quick to book them again if they would be willing to hang with my insane dogs again.

Schedule
I’m a full-time student, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I usually have one or two short classes Tuesday & Thursdays. I’m rarely gone for more than an hour or two at a time. Other than that, I’m almost always home doing homework or a new craft!
