I grew up with cats, but always found ways to surround myself with dogs, from walking neighbors' pups to helping care for them while they traveled. Growing up with a few independent-minded cats also taught me patience, how to respect their space, and how to create a low-stress, calming environment for all animals. Whether it's dogs or cats, I treat every animal with the highest level of care.
