Caring for Dogs Like Family
I've been a dog lover my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages. When I was 11, my family welcomed our Pug, Lily, into our home. After 7 years, Lily became my full responsibility, where I cared for her throughout her life, including providing attentive and patient senior care during her final years. After Lily passed away, I wanted to continue spending time with dogs, so I volunteered with Autism Dog Services for a year. I cared for dogs in training during weekends and evenings while their trainers were away. Through this experience, I gained confidence working with puppies under one year old as well as adult dogs, while reinforcing routines and providing consistent, reliable care. I also regularly care for the dogs of family and friends while they're on vacation. I make it a priority to keep each dog on their normal routine, provide plenty of exercise through safe walks, and pay close attention to their individual needs. During walks, I'm always aware of my surroundings to ensure dogs stay safe and avoid hazards. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and energy level, and I adapt my care to help them feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and know how important it is to give pet owners peace of mind by providing loving, dependable, and attentive care.

I highly recommend Annalise as a pet caregiver. People and pets gravitate to her as she is very kind, compassionate and caring. Annalise is a real dog-person. She is very responsible, competent, and organized. Annalise has taken care of my dog, Cooper, who is rather nervous. Annalise deals with him patiently and calmly. She proactively ensures that his environment is not too stimulating for him and ensures that his many needs are met. I am impressed with what a great dog owner Annalise is. She takes such wonderful care of her own dog who has health issues. She patiently and confidently administers medicine and adheres to the veterinarian's strict regimen. Annalise will do a great job working for your company as she is very conscientious and has an excellent work ethic. She is a delight!
As a dog owner herself, Annalise doesn't just understand the needs that come with caring for a pet, she really does adore them. Annalise has always done an excellent job walking my golden retriever, Mulligan, and he is always happy when she comes by to pick him up. Annalise is loving and affectionate with Mulligan, and I highly recommend her dog walking services.

Schedule
My weekends are completely free for walks, visits and play times! I look forward to daily walks during the week over lunch and after work (4:30pm).

I provide consistent walking routines that your pet can count on, while ensuring safe and highly active routes for your companion. I insist on keeping dogs well-hydrated throughout walks and am skilled at putting on dog booties!

A typical day
I like to take the dogs I watch to well-shaded trails that I know are safe from ticks. I prefer to walk the dogs I watch on calm neighbourhood streets near my house to avoid over stimulation for the dog. I love doing quick sprinnts with the dogs I watch to relieve them of any zoomies (especially after a wet, raining walk).

- I’d like to know about the dogs routine to best support it’s needs. As well, I’d like to know what are their house rules so that they maintain the same level of obedience when they go back home. Are treats ok? I often like to give my own dog treats in the form of pieces of lettuce, cut up cucumber or chopped carrots!
