I typically do a home visit in the evening around 6pm give or take an hour. During my work week I can only accommodate two drop-in visits a day (early mornings and evenings), however on Fridays and Saturdays I have more time to dedicate if your pet needs more activity or social interaction.

I typically like to lay eyes on the pet as soon as I come in, especially if they don't come say hi right away. For dogs, I like to take them potty as soon as possible, especially if it has been a few hours. Then I prepare meals and while they eat I clean litter boxes or tend to other chores like refilling water bowls, looking for accidents, etc. Once they finish eating, I spend a little quality time with them by grooming them, giving toys and treats, or simply petting them. Before leaving I always turn off lights, unless asked not to, and lock doors.

I'm very understanding of weird quirks and picky eaters so feel free to provide detailed instructions on your pets routine and I will follow them to a T.
A typical day
For cats, if they enjoy grooming I find that giving them a quick brush followed by treats is a good bonding experience. For dogs, I love making lick mats and giving puzzle feeders to increase their mental stimulation. And for both cats and dogs, you bet I will be sending you lots of pictures!

I am not quick to trust sitters with my beloved pets, but Annalisa has never given me a reason to doubt her skills. My dog, Turin, specifically requires very strict routines with food and training, and Annalisa was amazing at following instructions and learning quickly. I think Turin always being excited to go with Annalisa speaks for itself as well! I felt confident he was in good hands, and if a problem arose, Annalisa has the experience and knowledge to handle it properly. We are so thankful we found her! I also have an outdoor cat, Kitty, that is not quick to trust strangers but never fears Annalisa's caring touch. This has made our few trips away from home more calming, as I am confident Kitty is being taken care of while we are away.
