**Pet Care Experience** I deeply care for dogs, cats, farm animals, reptiles, and amphibians, especially those who struggle with fear, anxiety, or past traumas. With 25 years of personal caregiving experience and 15 years of dedicated training in animal husbandry, I have devoted my life to understanding and nurturing all kinds of animals, whether they are beloved pets or cherished farm companions. My approach is rooted in modern, scientifically-proven training methods that prioritize positive reinforcement, gentle redirection, and fear-free handling. I am committed to building trust, confidence, and safety in every interaction, and I truly believe in meeting each animal where they are emotionally, honoring their unique pace and individual needs. Above all, my goal is to create a nurturing environment where every interaction is restorative, joyful, and filled with unconditional love and patience. I understand the journey of coming out of your shell, and I strive to provide a calm, safe space where animals can heal, trust, and ultimately thrive. I also have experience caring for senior pets, administering medications, and adapting my care to meet special needs. Every pet deserves to feel safe, respected, and comfortable in their environment. Whether I'm caring for pets in my own home or in a client's home, I prioritize creating a calm, structured, and positive space tailored to each animal’s needs. In my home, pets enjoy enrichment activities such as lick mats, playtime, and plenty of cuddles throughout the day. I have a fully fenced backyard with 6+ foot tall fences for safe outdoor play and private areas where dogs can rest undisturbed if they need a break from other animals. Every animal is welcome on the couch for snuggles and is encouraged to feel at home. I utilize gentle, positive reinforcement and maintain clear, consistent routines to help pets feel secure. For animals with fear, anxiety, or a history of trauma, I prioritize slow introductions, patience, and fear-free handling to build trust at their own pace. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines, ensuring that pets' surroundings remain familiar and stress-free. I follow instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and behavior protocols closely, maintaining consistency and safety. I am also attentive to environmental safety—checking gates, securing leashes, and removing hazards—and I communicate regularly with pet parents to provide peace of mind. My goal is always to provide gentle, reliable care that fosters trust and confidence in both pets and their humans.

Amazing. Our animals and house were so well taken care of I didn’t worry about them at all. And we received lots of pictures and videos of our pets the entire time we were gone. We will definitely be using Liesy in the future :)
Annaliese is amazing!! She’s been taking care of my many rescue dogs for about 10 years now. She has been very aware of each rescue’s needs, anxiety and energy levels All of my dogs love being with her. She has taken care of our dogs while we were on vacations and during work days. Some of our pets have required medications which she had no problem tending to. I would highly recommend her for any pet owners! Your pets will love her.

Schedule
Pet care is a significant part of my life, and I have set aside time in my schedule to provide attentive and compassionate care on weekends, Mondays, and Tuesdays. I am available Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For an additional fee, I am also available to work on Wednesdays through Fridays starting after 9:00 a.m. I offer flexibility on weekends if extra care is needed, as well as overnight stays and holiday care upon request. By focusing my care on these specific days, I can give each animal my full attention, patience, and love, ensuring a positive and supportive experience every time we are together.
