Since I am a school teacher, my schedule is pretty consistent for morning, afternoon and evening care. In the morning (5:00-6:30 am) I love to get the day started by moving my body, dropping in to get the dogs fed, and making sure they're set up for success before my day begins. In the afternoon and evenings (4:00 pm onwards) I like to destress the day by making sure pets are getting exercise and time outside. I dedicate my time to extra activities, such as pet care. I aim to ensure that your pets receive focused attention, exercise, and companionship while their parents are away. On weekends and school breaks, I am more flexible to do longer walks, drop-ins, and housesitting/dog sitting appointments. I am also more available to do midday appointments.

I prefer to stay at the client's home for ease of care and pet emotions. While in the home, I abide by the client's rules/desires listed before leaving. I also make sure to stick to their normal schedule as closely as possible. While staying at the house, I will happily take care of trash/recycling, mail, and house plants. Unless permission was granted beforehand, I don't let anyone into your home and enjoy the alone time with dogs.

A typical day
I love to play with dogs and engage in their quirky personalities. Since I live in Castle Rock, there are so many fun walks and dog parks to go to that I will happily take your dogs to. If you have any stimulation toys that you want to use, I will do that as well.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I am a teacher, so I work from 7am to 4pm. I’ve been dog sitting for many years, caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personality types. Whether it's a dog walk, a drop-in visit, or an overnight stay, my main goals are simple: keep your pet happy, give them plenty of love, and make sure they get great exercise! As a school teacher, I have a very predictable routine that works wonderfully for pet care! My schedule makes it super easy to take on dog walks and drop-in visits before school (5:00 AM – 6:30 AM) and after school (4:00 PM or later). My availability opens up significantly during school breaks and throughout the summer! I always ask owners for detailed notes on food restrictions, meds, routines, and house rules so I can provide the exact care your pet is used to. I also build my schedule entirely around your pet’s needs—if they’ve been home alone during the day, I make sure to spend my evenings right there with them. (Bonus: I’m always happy to bring in the mail or care for your houseplants while you're away!) I look forward to giving your dog the best experience possible! Important Safety Note: I have a severe nut allergy! I am more than happy to give your pup any nut-free treats, snacks, or medicine pockets you provide. Please just let me know in advance if your dog uses peanut butter or nut-based treats so we can use a safe alternative while I’m caring for them.

She is a wonderful person. Trust worthy and reliable. She watches my two dogs and they are always happy to see her. She plays with them and loves on them all the time. Annabelle is the only one to watch my two little girls. She will be perfect for your fury family!
Annabelle is such a fun and loving person towards not only every person she meets but better yet towards every dog. My husband and I got an English Bulldog puppy a little over two years ago, and anyone who knows the breed knows they can be high maintenance. But she came over with open arms to help us watch him in the morning while we were at work. She also stayed with him for a week while we were on our honey moon and later on another week while we were on vacation. Annabelle is a trustworthy person to leave your fur babies with to either go on a nice little walk or check in on them while you're on vacation. Our dog loves being around her.
Annabelle was amazing to our fur-babies! I was so nervous leaving them, because they are getting high maintenance in their old age, but Annabelle put my fears at ease. She took such good care of them while I was away, and treated them with kindness and love. We will absolutely be booking her again!
Annabelle has cared for our dog on countless occasions for a week or more at a time. Our dog loved her and was always excited to see her. We knew we could count on her to give our dog her daily medications and love on her to comfort her while we were away. You can count on Annabelle to give your pet the care you’d want it to have! Our sweet Belle passed away and we miss her greatly. We loved knowing Annabelle was caring for her in a special way.
