Experienced, affordable, friendly dog care
As an experienced dog sitter, I have a deep love for all dogs, having had three beloved pets from a young age. Although I currently can’t have a dog of my own again, I really enjoy being able to look after them. I have experience with a range of dogs, including anxious ones, seniors, small and large breeds, and excitable puppies. My house has a secure, walled garden perfect for running and playing, alongside many quiet walking routes nearby. I have a comfortable bed for larger dogs and your pet can have access to the entire house, respecting any specific needs like a no-upstairs rule or the use of a crate for nighttime or if your dog needs to sleep in the bedroom, whatever will make them comfortable. Your dog’s comfort and happiness is the most important thing for any dog owner and I will try my best to accommodate any pup, I’m committed to providing a loving and safe environment during their stay.

Annabelle M. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.
Annabelle took great care of Baxter! She sent lots of photos and kept me updated on how he was settling in, he looked very happy and comfortable. I felt relaxed knowing he was being taken good care of 😊

Annabelle was able to take our young dog last minute due to a family emergency and we are so glad she was available. He loves going to her house (third time she has had him) and we know he will be spoiled with lots of lovely walks and cuddles. She even took him to the vet for us. Thank you once again Annabelle!
Very easy to see that Ted had a lovely few days with Annabelle. Lots of greatly appreciated photo updates. He was very well looked after.

At the moment I do freelance work from home so I can provide 24/7 care for any pet unless nipping to the shop or anything like that, I can stick to their regular walking/eating/sleeping schedule

I have a walled in garden with grass and many dog toys and a comfy bed that will fit large dogs, the dogs are also allowed anywhere in the house so they can make themselves fully at home. Pets can be crated if that’s your usual method at night but they can also be in my room if that’s what’s normal for them. Food in the morning, afternoon and evening (depending on your usual feeding schedule) and I can make any dietary adjustments needed

There are many walks in my village that have streams and puddles for splashing around in and big fields to run in, I have lots of toys at home and treats, my whole family love dogs so there will always be lots of attention for your dog. There’s also the knavesmire a 8 minute drive from me with varying places to walk, I frequently took my dogs to knaresborough which is notoriously dog friendly for a fun and different day out.

- I would love to know of any special needs that your dog may have and I can accommodate eg, my older dog had arthritis so needed help getting round some corners and blankets putting on the floor to help her walk over the hardwood as it made her nervous. What type of food you will be bringing and what time feeding usually is, what type of temperament is your doggy and how well do they get along with other dogs? Do they do well off the lead or do they have to stay on, is there certain triggers on walks eg cats, birds, cars etc that I should be aware of. How far away are you happy with me travelling for walks?
