Pet care experience
Pets, Peaks, and Plenty of Love
I’ve been a pet sitter all over the world and have cared for all kinds of animals, from goats and budgies to Great Danes. I’m experienced with reactive dogs, larger breeds, and pets with different personalities and needs, although most of my experience is with cats and dogs. I truly love all animals, and nothing makes me happier than a home full of fur family. Since I don’t have pets of my own at the moment, I feel very lucky to be able to give all that love and care to yours.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I always aim to make pets feel safe, settled, and loved, whether they are in my home or their own. I take time to understand each pet’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, medication, sleeping arrangements, and any behavioural needs, so I can keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible. I’m very mindful of safety on walks and in the home, especially with reactive dogs or larger breeds, and I always make sure pets are secure, comfortable, and well supervised. In a pet owner’s home, I treat both the space and the animals with great respect, keeping everything clean, calm, and consistent. My goal is always to give pets plenty of attention, affection, and reassurance so they feel happy and cared for while you’re away.
Ratings and reviews
Annabelle was amazing with our 2 Labradors, one of them being a 12 week old puppy who needed lots supervision. Annabelle was so easy to talk to, made the process super simple, put my mind at ease but above all looked after our girls with such care. Thank you.

Annabelle was very responsive and looked after our girls perfectly. Our Spaniel is very nervous but Annabelle established a good bond with her. Our Beagador loves everyone and was very relaxed throughout.

Annabelle came to sit for me last year and did an absolutely excellent job. I have two cats, a dog and a large, complex garden, and I returned home to find everything in great order. Annabelle very kindly took my high energy dog on long walks and there’s photo evidence of a whole-lotta cat-canoodling. My animals knew and felt like they were in good hands based on how little fanfare related to my return - I know there’s an inverse relationship between care while away, and post trip attachment to me. More than that, I just felt very safe leaving Annabelle with my life/dependents, and that’s hard to capture. She’s intelligent, charming, enterprising, reliable and kind…the kind of independent traveler who is a steady doer and a positive problem solver. I knew that if something unforeseen arose, she’d apply common sense and find an effective, responsible solution. I loved the pictures she took, regular communication and was very touched that she left me with a beautiful little watercolor she’d made of my pup. Highly recommended.
Annabelle has taken my dog on several walks/hikes. He is a small terrier with boundless energy and loves being out. Annabelle has provided walks between two and ten miles. He is pleased to see her and goes off quite happily. She knows the recent law changes regarding off lead dogs and I am confident he is safe and happy in her care. Highly recommend.
An absolute gem! Our pets couldn’t be happier! Annabelle is our go to for pet care. She would take our dog for adventures beyond the back yard, exploring trails and new parks. We loved the little photo updates as well. We also appreciated the routine when it came to meal and potty breaks. Annabelle also gave genuine, nurturing care to both the dog and cat when it came to cuddles and tummy rubs. We can tell the animals are always happy to see her :) Highly recommend!

Schedule
I’m currently studying from home, so pet care fits in very naturally with my daily routine. I love getting out for walks in the morning, afternoon, and evening, which means pets in my care get plenty of attention, exercise, and company throughout the day. My afternoon walk is usually at least two hours, while morning walks tend to be around 30 to 60 minutes, so I’m well set up for dogs who enjoy regular outdoor time

- I like to know about your pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, sleeping habits, and any medical or behavioural needs in advance. It’s also really helpful to know how they are with people, other animals, and new situations, as well as any fears, triggers, or favourite comforts, so I can care for them in the safest and most loving way possible.
