Hi! I’m a friendly, caring and reliable animal lover who has grown up around pets my whole life. I’ve always had dogs and have also cared for cats, hamsters and rabbits, so I’m very comfortable looking after all kinds of pets and understand that every animal has their own personality and needs. I’ve regularly dog-sat for neighbours, friends and family, including both day sits and overnight stays. More recently, I’ve also helped care for two new puppies in my family, giving me plenty of hands-on experience with the extra attention, patience and care puppies need. I genuinely love being around animals and would treat your pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away.

I always aim to keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible, as I know this helps them feel comfortable and settled. I make sure they have regular toilet breaks, plenty of fresh water and lots of opportunities for play, exercise and stimulation throughout the day. I’m very happy to spend plenty of time keeping pets company, whether that’s playing with them, giving them cuddles or simply being around them so they don’t feel lonely. I’m also comfortable using crates when this is part of their usual routine and would always follow the owner’s instructions around crate time and sleeping arrangements. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs and personality, and I’m happy to follow their usual feeding, walking, sleeping and play routines. Most importantly, I want them to feel safe, happy and cared for while their owners are away.

Schedule
I currently have a very flexible schedule, as I’m taking some time away from work to study Pilates and focus on building my own business. This gives me plenty of free time and flexibility throughout the week, which makes pet sitting a great fit for my lifestyle. I’m able to dedicate lots of time and attention to the pets I’m caring for, whether that’s daytime visits, longer stays or overnight sitting. I’m also able to be flexible around individual routines and can work around feeding times, walks and any specific care your pet needs. I really enjoy having animals around, so pet sitting is something I’d genuinely love to incorporate into my day-to-day life.
