Hi! My name is Annabel and I am a Ph.D. student at U.C. Irvine, currently living in Costa Mesa. I have been taking care of dogs since around 2010 (walking, pet sitting, etc.), and doing general animal-care ever since I can remember. I have had my current hound/pit bull rescue since 2014. My dog Chuck is leash-reactive and a “runner” as we like to say, so I know how to handle varying leash behaviors and am very attentive to security and safety for dogs that may be known as escape artists. I also worked at my town’s doggy daycare for the summer of 2018 where my responsibilities included caring for up to 20-30 dogs at a time, as well as maintaining a clean environment, and monitoring the dogs for any aggressive behavior (as well as staying vigilant in keeping dogs apart with known aggression and tending to specific dog’s needs). All in all, I am a responsible, dedicated, animal-loving individual who would love to help any owners out with their beloved pets. I do have a car and a moderately flexible schedule.
