Hi, I’m Anna! I am new to the rover platform but I have lots of experience petsitting independently and I have been surrounded by animals my whole life. Growing up, our house was always full of pets. We always had family dogs, plus a huge mix of small furry creatures and reptiles too. Because of that, I am completely comfortable looking after all kinds of pets and understanding their different quirks and personalities. I am currently a PhD student, which means I am very reliable, quiet, and trustworthy. If you need in house pet sitting, I am the perfect fit because my studies allow me to spend plenty of time at your home keeping your pets company and making sure their routine stays exactly the same. Whether your dog needs a long walk to burn off energy, or you have a small pet or reptile that needs specific feeding and cage care, I can help. I love being outdoors and walking, so your dogs will get plenty of quality time outside, and back at your house I will make sure all your instructions are followed perfectly. I will send plenty of updates and photos while you are gone so you know everything is going well. I look forward to meeting your pets!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are my main priorities when looking after your pets and your home. When I am house sitting, I treat your space with complete respect, keeping everything clean, tidy, and secure. I make sure to strictly follow your instructions regarding feeding times, routines, and where your pets are allowed to go in the house. I know that every animal is different, so I always take a patient approach. I pay close attention to their body language to make sure they are comfortable and happy, never forcing them into interactions if they are feeling shy or overwhelmed. For walks, I keep dogs on a lead unless we are in a designated safe area and you have explicitly told me they have excellent recall. Before leaving your house, I always double check that doors and gates are properly locked, and that small pets or reptiles are completely secure in their enclosures. You will get regular photo updates throughout the stay so you can see exactly how relaxed and well cared for they are.

Anna was a really great house guest and a fantastic dog sitter. She made me feel so at ease leave my dog for a week. She had great communication and gave us lots of photos and updates throughout the week. Would definitely have Anna dog sit again.
Anna did such an amazing job with our puppy! Anna sent hourly updates on what our dog was up too as well as following all instructions provided as well as respecting our home, my puppy really enjoyed her day!!!!!
We honestly cannot recommend Anna highly enough! She stayed in our home for a whole week looking after our 4-month-old kitten, Jasper, and we couldn’t have wished for a better person to care for him. From the very beginning, Anna was amazing. She took the time to listen to all of our instructions, understood Jasper’s little routines and quirks, and made sure he had everything he needed while we were away. She was incredibly thoughtful, responsible, and caring, which gave us complete peace of mind knowing Jasper was in the best hands. Anna kept Jasper entertained, played with him, gave him lots of love and attention, and always kept us updated with regular photos and messages. It meant so much being able to see what he was doing each day and know that he was happy, comfortable, and having the best time. The biggest compliment we can give Anna is how much Jasper loved her. He is only 4 months old and still getting used to the world, and although he doesn’t usually cuddle up with us very often, he became so affectionate and cuddly with Anna. Seeing him so relaxed and comfortable around her showed just how safe and loved he felt. It was clear that she built a real bond with him. Anna also looked after our home with so much care and respect. Everything was exactly as we left it, and she went above and beyond in every way. She was reliable, respectful, communicative, and genuinely passionate about looking after animals. Leaving your pet with someone can be stressful, especially when they are still a young kitten, but Anna made the whole experience completely worry-free. We came home to a happy, content, and well-loved kitten, and we are so grateful for the care and attention she gave Jasper. Thank you so much, Anna, for being so wonderful with Jasper and for treating him like your own. We would absolutely love for you to look after him again in the future and would recommend you to anyone looking for a kind, trustworthy, and loving cat sitter!

Schedule
Because of my schedule as a PhD student, my routine is incredibly flexible. I do a lot of my work from a desk, which means I can easily base myself at your house for day care or overnight stays, providing plenty of consistent company and supervision. My routine allows me to easily fit in morning, midday, or evening walks depending on what your dog is used to. Whether you need regular weekday check ins or full time company over the weekend, I can adapt my time to match your pet's normal schedule perfectly.
