This includes cleaning litter boxes, feeding and hydrating pets, administering medications (if required), and providing companionship through playtime or affection. Here are some examples of the engaging activities I incorporate into pet care: For Dogs: Playtime with their favorite toys, such as tug-of-war ropes or fetch balls. Walks or runs to explore the neighborhood or local parks, giving them exercise and mental stimulation. Puzzle toys or treat-dispensing activities to challenge their minds and keep them engaged. For Cats: Interactive play with feather wands, laser pointers, or small balls to spark their hunting instincts. Climbing and scratching activities using their existing furniture or toys. Quiet bonding time, such as petting or brushing, for more relaxed cats. Customized Activities: Following any favorite routines or games the pet enjoys, as specified by the owner. Providing extra snuggles, belly rubs, or ear scratches for pets who crave affection. Engaging senior pets with gentle, low-impact activities that keep them moving comfortably. My goal is to ensure the pets are not only well-cared for but also happy and entertained during their time with me. I adapt each activity to suit their personality and energy level, creating a positive and enjoyable experience.

My lifelong love for animals and my personal experience caring for pets set me apart. I took early retirement to pursue my passion for helping both people and their pets. As a biologist, I bring a strong attention to detail—I am observant, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s behavior, health, and individual needs. Dogs and cats naturally sense my love for them, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. In addition to providing excellent pet care, I care for your home with the same respect and responsibility—bringing in mail, taking trash cans in from the curb, and following any specific instructions you provide. I keep pets’ spaces clean, maintain routines, and ensure they feel safe and comfortable in your absence. I am also flexible with my hours when given advance notice. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is not only cared for, but truly loved.

Mowgli has Anna wrapped around his finger. She spoils him, and I'm starting to think he likes her more than me. Owners beware, she'll steal your pets' hearts! In all seriousness, I'm so glad to have Anna to call on when I can't bring Mowgli with me. She does a great job, is very tidy, and sends me pictures daily!
Anna did such a good job caring for Mowgli and communicating with me. Mowgli is currently a very involved medical case, and Anna took on the challenge like a pro. She restricted his activity (no easy feat with a large breed puppy), changed countless bandages (including purchasing more supplies), gave oral medication, used a light therapy device, and brushed his teeth! All the while she was sending me photos of Mowgli and commenting how cute he was. She even bought him a toy! I am so relieved that the person taking care of my whole world (!) loved him like I do. Her passion and ability to follow detailed instructions helped Mowgli continue to heal in my absence. I will certainly book Anna again and encourage anyone looking for a dependable caretaker to do the same. Thank you, Anna ♥️
