My lifelong love for animals and my personal experience caring for pets set me apart. I took early retirement to pursue my passion for helping both people and their pets. As a biologist, I bring a strong attention to detail—I am observant, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s behavior, health, and individual needs. Dogs and cats naturally sense my love for them, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. In addition to providing excellent pet care, I care for your home with the same respect and responsibility—bringing in mail, taking trash cans in from the curb, and following any specific instructions you provide. I keep pets’ spaces clean, maintain routines, and ensure they feel safe and comfortable in your absence. I am also flexible with my hours when given advance notice. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is not only cared for, but truly loved.

I provide pet care exclusively in my clients' homes, as I am unable to accommodate animals in my own home. Caring for pets in their familiar environment ensures their comfort and reduces any stress associated with changes to their routine or surroundings. In clients’ homes, I follow all instructions meticulously to maintain the pet’s established feeding, exercise, and care schedule. This includes cleaning litter boxes, feeding and hydrating pets, administering medications (if required), and providing companionship through playtime or affection. I prioritize keeping the home tidy and secure, ensuring the pet’s space remains clean and well-maintained.

Anna is an excellent pet lover, I had a great experience with Anna, she is very sweet with my puppy, play with him, she is taking care of him very well. He is always happy to see her. I definitely recommend Anna. She really loves animals. I gives her an excellent rating because she does her work with love and not for money. We must be very careful when choosing who cares for our pets. I wish everyone were like Anna.
Mowgli has Anna wrapped around his finger. She spoils him, and I'm starting to think he likes her more than me. Owners beware, she'll steal your pets' hearts! In all seriousness, I'm so glad to have Anna to call on when I can't bring Mowgli with me. She does a great job, is very tidy, and sends me pictures daily!
Anna did such a good job caring for Mowgli and communicating with me. Mowgli is currently a very involved medical case, and Anna took on the challenge like a pro. She restricted his activity (no easy feat with a large breed puppy), changed countless bandages (including purchasing more supplies), gave oral medication, used a light therapy device, and brushed his teeth! All the while she was sending me photos of Mowgli and commenting how cute he was. She even bought him a toy! I am so relieved that the person taking care of my whole world (!) loved him like I do. Her passion and ability to follow detailed instructions helped Mowgli continue to heal in my absence. I will certainly book Anna again and encourage anyone looking for a dependable caretaker to do the same. Thank you, Anna ♥️
My sister, Anna, is an amazing person who not only loves and cares about pets, but she feels the same about PEOPLE..... and will do anything in the world for anybody. She goes out of her way to go above and beyond for everybody, but most especially for animals. Even as a child, feeding and caring for the family's two german shepherds, she never exhibited any fear or reticence in interacting with them. Growing up, she actually once aspired to be a veterinarian before becoming a microbiologist. Many times she has rescued turtles out of the street to keep them from being hit. She has a very caring and dependable nature, and often cat-sits for her son and daughter-in-law. Once while on vacation in the Dominican Republic, she excitedly swam with some dolphins and actually picked up a large stingray!! (much to all of our chagrin!!) Anna gravitates to all animals and she lovingly approaches and cares for them without fear. It is for these reasons that I HIGHLY recommend her as a more-than-suitable candidate for one of your pet-sitter positions. I promise, you will not be disappointed.
