I've had pets all my life - I've put 14 years of experience as that's how long I've had dogs, however I've always lived with pets, from birth. I've had cats, dogs, rabbits, gerbils, and fish. I grew up with cats, and I've dogs from the age of 14. I adore animals, and I always make sure to be patient, gentle and kind with them. At home, I have two dogs myself (a Lurcher, and a Jack Russell/ Patterdale Mix). Having a Lurcher, I am familiar with dogs with a more nervous temperament, so please know I will always be empathetic to your pets needs. Additionally, previously I had a Shih-Tzu who we sadly lost to old age, so I am also familiar with the needs of more senior dogs. In terms of cats, I grew up with cats and have lived with them nearly all my life. I haven't got any at present, as my childhood cats passed away a couple of years ago and I'm not ready to get new ones yet. I saw my childhood cats into old age, so, again, I am familiar with how to care for senior cats. Additionally to caring for my own pets, I have experience house and pet sitting for friends and family. I have cat and home-sat for a friend several times in the past, and again, I am accustomed with how to care for and look after her cat, whilst also ensuring that her home was kept safe. Also, I have dog and house-sat for my sister, caring for her German Shepherd. I absolutely adore animals, and please know that I also have the lived-in experience to ensure that your pets are being kept safe whilst they are in my care.
