My Home: I live in a cottage with an enclosed porch (no dashing off to chase the postman!) and a secure, fenced-back garden. Dogs are supervised at all times in the garden with regular pee breaks and outdoor playtime. During the day they have free roam downstairs (kitchen & living room) with constant access to water, toys and the choice of blankets, a pet bed or the sofa for snoozing on. Sleepover pals can stay downstairs or join the puppy pile on the bed. If you prefer your dog to be crated please let me know and we can make arrangements. My own dog is a lover of routine so we have a structured day: wake-up play, breakfast, walk (and probably a visit to the coffee shop for treats and pets), sofa snuggles, mid-morning snacks, barking at the postman duty, sofa snuggles, lunchtime treat, little play, sofa snuggles, afternoon walk, tea time, little play, sofa snuggles, bedtime wee, bed snuggles for the night. It's a hard life, eh? Your Home: I will stick to your pet's familiar routine as much as possible to ensure their comfort and happiness. Please let me know of any safety, security or other concerns in your home so I can be aware and prepared. I can be available for housesitting as long as your dog(s) is happy with my dog staying over too. If not, or if you have other pets, we can discuss drop-in visits. Yours or Mine: I always walk new dogs on leads while we build up our relationship. Even dogs with the best recall in the world can forget they ever knew their name when with a new human! A long lead can be used for dogs who need a bit of extra running around to burn off energy. I will stay in touch with updates as much or as little as you request - I am happy to send multiple updates a day, occasionally, or even give you complete peace and quiet if you need it! I am always reachable if anything changes and you need to contact me. Please let me know if your dog struggles with separation anxiety and to what extent. As long as I know then I can make plans to minimise time spent away from them.

I have experience caring for reactive and anxious dogs and am happy to commit to the extra responsibility that entails as long as I know upfront. I know it can feel daunting to let a sitter know about any behavioural issues, but the more I know the better care I can provide your furbaby! I will always defer to your guidance on how best to approach and care for them. Behaviours to let me know about: any reactivity and the triggers; separation anxiety and how it presents for your dog; other anxieties (eg. scared of sudden loud noises); resource guarding; aggression. Helpful things for me to know: favourite toys; if they are food or play-motivated; any training you're working on that you'd like me to reinforce; any goofy quirks or habits; their usual routine, feeding schedule & any necessary medication

I am very fortunate to live close to several beautiful walks for your dog to explore with me. Other than walks, days will be spent playing with toys or puzzles, practising training, and lots of time on the sofa for snuggles and belly rubs.

Loving, Responsible, Reliable and Fun Dog Sitter
Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas
Growing up in a veritable menagerie (guinea pigs & rabbits & cats, oh my!) instilled a deep sense of love, care and responsibility for animals from an early age. I took on my first pet-sitting job as a teenager dropping in to feed, play with, snuggle and clean the litter tray of a neighbour's cat while they were away. I soon built up a roster of happy owners entrusting me to look after their cats, birds, fish and plants while they were away during the school holidays. I now regularly look after dogs, doing everything from stretching our legs together on a walk, snuggles and playtime drop-in visits, hanging out together for the day, to cosying up for a sleepover at mine or me coming to stay at their home where they feel safe and secure. I can't think of a better way to spend the day than with dogs! Over the past few years, I have earned the trust of both the dogs I look after and their owners, and I am pleased to be their go-to sitter. I love spending time with the dogs I have created bonds with over repeat visits, and I also love meeting new furry friends and building that bond together. I am also available for drop-in visits for cats and other small furry/scaley/feathery friends. During drop-ins, I will feed, do any necessary clean-up duties (litter trays/hutches/vivariums etc), play/snuggle time and just hang out for a while so your pet has company. When in my care your pet is my absolute priority. I will always treat them with the same love, care and attention as my own dog - and let me tell you, he is one pampered boy! I have experience working with puppies, seniors, toy to giant breeds and everything in between, reactivity and mild separation anxiety. I am confident in administering oral and topical medication, managing all important routines and reinforcing basic training.
Reseñas

Nora really enjoyed her stay with Anna. Nora got the excited jiggles when I dropped her off and was such a happy girl when I picked her up. I can’t wait for Nora to spend more time with Anna. As for Anna, she was really caring and accommodative of Nora. She was such an easy host to deal with.

Truffle had a wonderful time staying with Anna. She was very happy and settled quickly thanks to the warm and inviting environment and superb care from Anna. We received daily updates and photos of all the fun times had!

Anna took such good care of our dog Fig. It was our first time leaving her with a sitter and Anna ensure to share updates throughout the day, as well as pictures. This helped us feel re assured and trusted that Fig was in good care. We'd love to use Anna again for future day care.

Pepper had a fantastic time with Anna. She will certainly be back to have more fun soon.
