Safety, trust & environment

I’m based in Lower Queen Anne and live in a cozy apartment with my boyfriend and our Shih Tzu Cooper. No children, no yard, but don’t let that last part worry you. Cooper and I do at least one 2.5-mile walk every day, and if I’m watching your dog, they can expect the same. Queen Anne has wonderful walkable streets and green spaces, so there’s plenty to explore.

Information Anna S. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any behavior issues. Are the potty trained? Do they get along well with other dogs? Are they spayed (if female)? Thank you!

A typical day

Wake up and time for some loving. Next a quick potty walk. If it’s the weekend we might do a long walk to start the day, if it’s the weekday that depends entirely on how early I wake up. If it’s during the work day your dog can snooze in my house along with my dog, or they can get competitive about who gets the best Yak stick or beef trachea to chew on. Mid-day and it’s time to potty again. We wrap the day up with a long 2.5 mile or more walk as long as your dog is willing and physically capable. During the work week your dog will be in the company of me and my dog the whole time. After work my boyfriend will come home and we’ll excitedly greet him. If your pup likes to play we will do some late night playing. Lots of toys and balls at my house to have fun with. After dinner both dogs will get some boiled chicken (if that’s ok) since my dog gets that as a treat and it would not be fair to only give it to one.

Pet care experience

I may be new to Rover, but I’m far from new to caring for dogs. I’ve spent years looking after my own pup and pet sitting for friends and family, all out of a genuine love for animals. For me, this isn’t a side hustle; it’s something I truly enjoy. I have a Shih Tzu of my own named Cooper, who is my whole world. When it comes to walks, I’m a firm believer in dog-centered outings. Want to sprint? Let’s go. Need five minutes to thoroughly investigate that one bush? Take your time. We move at your dog’s pace, in your dog’s direction, because that’s what makes a walk genuinely enriching, not just exercise. Your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and cuddles. I’ll treat them exactly like I treat Cooper, like family. You can expect regular photo updates if I’m watching your pup, I know firsthand how hard it is to be away from your baby and how it can put a damper on your trip thinking about them missing you.

Anna is the best dog sitter ever! She loves and cares for my dog like hes her own, he loves going over to her place for all the fun toys, cuddles and good walks. She is patient and loving I never have to worry about Buddy when Im with her. Shes been watching Buddy for over 9 years and they have their own special relationship now. I get cute pictures from her all the time that make me feel secure that he’s enjoying himself and gives me a little glimpse into what he’s up to. Couldnt recommend her more!!

If you’re looking for someone who will love your dog like they’re her own, Anna is the person to book. She has been absolutely incredible with my miniature dachshund, Franz, and I never have to worry when he’s with her. He gets so excited to see her and always comes home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Anna goes above and beyond to make sure he’s comfortable, gets plenty of attention, and sticks to his routine. It’s obvious how much she genuinely loves animals, and that gives me complete peace of mind whenever I’m away. I trust her completely with Franz and couldn’t recommend her more highly. Any pet would be lucky to spend time with her!
