Experience and affection to give
Neighbors, family and friends have trusted me with their pets for over 10 years. I have experience giving medications, including insulin, and am comfortable doing so. I have cared for dogs of many breeds, ages and energies. I have welcomed dogs into my home for overnight stays as well as stayed with them at their homes overnight. I have had 9 dogs throughout my life and I love to meet new furry friends along the way!

Anna is an excellent sitter!!! She took great care of our boy Levi, seen us photos, updates. Responded quickly every time. Flexible and accommodating to our changing travel plans due to the snow storm. We highly recommend her!

When we meet Anna we felt confident that our daschund Buddha would love being with her! I'm sure he had a good experience, but we expected to receive daily updates and photos on the site and we didn't. We had no internet for part of our trip, but we did have texting. [Our drop-in cat carer made daily posts to Rover, and we stayed up-to-date on her care and photos.] I requested texts from Anna. She did send one photo in the five days she had Buddha and two texts, each of which shared a critique ("he is sensitive to new noises," and "he tore up a few of my stuffed toys."). I was disappointed not to get any communication except when I directly asked. I wasn't sure how to address this, and I preferred to leave a private review, but I don't see how to do it on the app. If we have misunderstood something about his care, I sincerely apologize, but we really had very little information.
She was wonderful with Nooka and very communicative/responsive. Highly recommend!

Anna was wonderful with our two dogs- a senior and a puppy. She loved them and cared for them well; helping when one was sick once and letting me know if there was ever anything not quite right. She even helped rescue some baby birds in our backyard once. Highly recommend Anna!!

My schedule varies each day / week as I primarily work from home but am also on the go some days for a few hours when doing the face to face portion of my job. I like a pup who is good to be home alone for a little while here and there while I am away, I do not want to create any extra anxiety for pets that may have a hard time in a new environment.

I live in an apartment complex that has a fenced in dog park that is accessible 24/7. My complex is large enough for nice walks as well. I like to play fetch and tug of war with my pets, offering treats and affection. I like to snuggle with my pets so my furniture is open to my pets as well, so long as they are respectful of furniture. I have my own private balcony with a tall enough railing that allows my pets to stay outside to enjoy fresh air and the scenery while I am inside, weather permitting. I do not have my own crate available in my home, if needed.
A typical day
I like my pet friends to help keep me active as well so we will go for walks, play fetch and with other toys! I like to go for walks around my complex, public walks weather permitting. I like to stimulate my pets with snuffle mats and hide and seek with treats. Pets will get plenty of rubs and scratches... and brushings if asked!

- I feel most successful with others pets when I am made aware of any special routines or concerning behaviors. I prefer dogs that are good with other dogs, or at least friendly in passing. I want to ensure that any playdates or introductions are to go safely for both the pets and people involved.
