Dog sitter in Fort Greene
Hello! As a life-time dog lover, I am always looking to hang with more furry friends. I live right next to Fort Greene Park with my three-year-old hound mix fur baby, Yarrow. My apartment is open to canines of all shapes and sizes (as long as they don't mind sharing space with another dog). Any dog who stays here is welcomed into the family. We go on walks to the park multiple times a day, as well as off-leash hours morning and evening (if off-leash hours are not your dog's jam, no problem—happy to tailor to their needs). I am a PhD student so home a lot of the time working at my computer. I love the extra company and I pride myself on my attentiveness to dogs' needs. Please share a little bit about your dog and what you would look for from a petsitter. I hope to connect :)

Bert had a wonderful time, and Anna was conscientious and thoughtful about giving updates during his stay!

This was Nora’s second stay with Anna and Yarrow, and she had an absolute blast. She already can’t wait to go back!

anna took great care of Pinto! managed her wearing a cone and gave her eye drops perfectly. would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

Anna took incredible care of Nora. She was loving and attentive and we could tell Nora was having a blast from all of the pictures. We’ve already booked again!

Anna is great with our Greta. This is the second time that she has watched our dog over a 10-day stretch while we traveled. She’s patient and makes sure Greta gets plenty of exercise and outdoor time. Hope to book her again!

Pinto had the best time with Anna and Yarrow. She sent us so many updates and took such good care of her. Would have Pinto stay with Anna on my next trip!

Schedule
I am a PhD student and consistently home all day Wednesday through Sunday. Because I have my own dog, I am rarely out of the house for more than 5 hours. My schedule is flexible and can be adjusted to suit the needs of your dog.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
My apartment is completely dog-proof. My own food-obsessed dog has helped me see all the ways that dogs can get up to mischief and have taken all necessary precautions to make sure that food is out of reach and that the space is safe. I live in a large studio right across the street from Fort Greene Park—dog paradise! While I only have one main room for dogs to hang out in, I always feed them separately to avoid any conflict over food.
Pets
A typical day
The day begins with breakfast for the pups and a long walk or off-leash hours in the park. After lots of water and a few hours of rest, we go out again for a mid-day stroll. When 6pm hits, its dinner time followed by another long walk. I normally take my own dog out again before cozying up in bed. Happy to do more outtings, if needed!
