I work remotely most of the week, which allows me to easily schedule drop-in visits during the day or in the evenings for clients close to my area. I also have open weekend availability, making it simple to accommodate a variety of schedules. Because I work from home, I’m able to offer in-home dog sitting at any time. I love incorporating pet care into my day, whether that’s taking for walks, playtime, feeding, or simply giving your pet the companionship they deserve. I tailor my care based on each pet’s routine and needs. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their schedule as consistent and comfortable as possible. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.

Information Anna R. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your pet, it’s important for me to know anything that helps me keep them safe, comfortable, and happy. This includes their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any medications they’re on. I also like to know about any allergies, medical conditions, or mobility issues. Behavior information is just as important—please let me know if your pet has quirks, anxieties, triggers, or reactivity (toward people, animals, or certain situations). I never judge; I just want to be prepared so your pet feels understood and supported.

A typical day

A typical day with your pet is all about keeping them happy, comfortable, and engaged. . We start with morning potty breaks, breakfast, and a little playtime or a walk to get their energy out. Throughout the day, I take regular breaks to give them affection, enrichment activities, or outdoor time depending on their needs and routine. I also love doing enrichment activities such as snuffle mats, lick mats, or slow-feeder games to keep their minds stimulated. Evenings usually include another walk or play session, dinner, and quiet time to help them wind down. My goal is to keep their day as close to their normal routine as possible while adding extra love and fun along the way.

Safe and Loving Care for Your Pets

Pet care experience

Hi there! I’m Anna, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. I currently volunteer and foster with the Maricopa County Animal Shelter, where I’ve cared for dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs. I also have two high-maintenance pups of my own—both adopted off the euthanasia list—who are now happy, healthy, and thriving with lots of love and structure. I’m experienced with more than just dogs and cats—I’ve also cared for reptiles, including bearded dragons and snakes, so I’m comfortable supporting households with a variety of pets. I’m confident handling medications, special routines, and pets with unique needs or temperaments. I work remotely, which means if I’m staying in your home, I can be present around the clock to keep your pets safe, comfortable, and cared for. I know how important it is to feel that your home and fur babies are in trustworthy hands, and I always treat every pet like my own. I’d love to meet you and your pets—feel free to reach out with any questions!

Ana was lovely! She kept me updated during our trip and the dogs took to her right away, and one of them is typically hesitant with new people. Cant recommend her enough!

We loved Anna! She was quick to respond to texts, had a lot of knowledge of dogs, very sweet, and Nala was well taken care of for the day! Will use her again definitely.

Ana took the time to come to our home for a meet and greet with our GSD, prior to coming over to watch over our girl for a few hours. Ana was punctual and communicates great. Our baby girl got comfortable with her very quickly.
