I'll love them like my own!
I've taken care of dogs since I was little! I've always loved animals and wanted to take on the responsibility of caring for them. Whether this was my next door neighbors or my own, I was always up for the job! I own a mini horse (my 1 year old saint bernard), 1 inside only cat, and 2 outside cats. As for work, I am a fourth grade teacher and have the patience and enthusiasm to be the pet sitter you need.

I absolutely loved having Eris stay with her! I would definitely choose her again. She has a wonderful amount of space for the dogs to play and feel comfortable. She followed all of our instructions regarding Eris’s food and medication, which gave us so much peace of mind. I also loved seeing how well her dog and Eris got along.they became great friends! 🥰 I highly recommend her and would definitely trust her with Eris again!

Schedule
I am currently out for summer break as an elementary teacher. My schedule is very open and flexible. I will be home full time until mid August. Once I go back to work, I will still be able to board animals at my house. However, it is important for them to be crate trained as I plan to have them crated during the day - at least in the beginning. This will more than likely change as I get to know the animal more and how they interact with my animals! It's essential for the animals to feel safe in a place they are unfamiliar with and around animals they do not know! Please know that when I arrive home, they will receive plenty of enrichment through attention, daily walks, and play time with me or other dogs.

I have a fenced in backyard that connects to another fenced in yard belonging to my parents and their two dogs. These areas are closed off unless I want the dogs to have some play time. All 3 dogs, including my own, are very sweet and get along well! Dog can be easily crated if needed, I own a large crate with a lot of room. As for your home, I will treat it like it's my own and love your pets like they are my own. Animals provide a nice change from the chaos that goes on in the everyday life of a teacher. I look forward to taking your fur baby on walks, providing enrichment, and cleaning litter boxes or other pet related needs!

A typical day
I love providing enrichment for the pets I watch physically and mentally. Whether this includes bringing a dog puzzle and some treats to entertain them or exploring a dog park. My own dog loves a car ride to Starbucks to get a pup cup. I've owned labradors in the past who loved when I took them to the river to play. I also have ample space in my backyard and other sweet dogs who are looking for a friend to play with.

- The most important things for me to know ahead of time is if your pet is fully vaccinated and if they have a history of aggression towards other animals or people. I do not mind caring for a dog with aggressive or protective tendencies, but if chosen to board at my house they will stay in the fenced area most of the time. They will be monitored during play with other dogs if that is wanted by the owner.
