Pet care experience
Your dog’s best friend
I grew up with dogs and have cared for them my entire life. Upon moving to Colorado, I met my husband whose dog was epileptic. Unfortunately, his dog passed at an early age due to health complications. This traumatic experience was turned into a blessing when we started fostering a few months later. Fast forward and I have fostered 16 dogs in the past 22 months through Soul Dog Rescue.

Anna seemed to genuinely care about my pup and provided great communication. I would recommend her as well as use her again for future needs

Anna was great with Smitty! She provided em frequent updates and even took him to some open dog parks. He had a blast and a play hangover for days 😆. We would certainly use her again.

Anna was great with my high energy and nervous shepherd mix. He can bark and jump on new people but Anna was super receptive to my instructions to prevent this and was able to play with him, give him water, treats, and a potty break within 30 minutes. She was very responsive to my messages as well. She has lots of experience with foster dogs which is great for my high maintenance big boy.

Anna was the perfect sitter for our dog Honey. Homey seemed genuinely sad to leave and sad to see me when I picked her up. Anna gave recaps of every day with photos and videos and where they went on a hike or walk. Honey looked to be right at home. We will definitely use Anna again

She did amazing with my shy dog♥️ she ended up loving her and her dogs. We are very happy

Anna’s dog day care was amazing! We received lots of pics and videos during the day and I was able to rest easy at work knowing that my puppy was being taken such good care of. She even went on a walk in addition to the dogs getting to play out in a big yard most of the day. Anna is very trustworthy and reliable.

Schedule
While this is a very rewarding experience, I recently lost my full time job and would like to share my love for dogs with others. I understand the importance of low cost pet services after working at a spay & neuter clinic on the Navajo Reservation. I have cared for dogs from 8 weeks old to 17 years of age and dogs with all sorts of medical needs. I believe dogs take on the energy of their caretakers and I hope to bring them as much joy as they bring to this world.

I am available 7 days a week to walk, hike, let out to potty, administer meds, board, or house sit overnight. My husband and I are very active and love to bring our dogs on adventures with us. Please let me know what brings your pup(s) the most joy!

A typical day
Our day gets started with a walk around the neighborhood, then breakfast, and usually play time. I love to keep my dogs mentally enriched by giving them puzzles or teaching them tricks. Every dog’s needs are different and I will adjust accordingly. If my schedule allows, I will take the dogs to the park across the street during lunch time or a nearby dog park to run free and play. I try to feed my dogs their dinner before my own so that they learn to not beg at the table. After dinner, we go on a short walk around the neighborhood and then get ready for bedtime. I let my dogs sleep on the floor in the bedroom if they are potty trained, or will bring a crate into the bedroom if they are not, and will give a potty break in the middle of the night as needed.

- I have experience with very shy and afraid dogs, dogs that resource guard, dogs with leash reactivity, dogs with separation anxiety, dogs with medical needs, and dogs that are not potty trained. Please be transparent about your dog’s needs so that I can plan accordingly. The best breed is a dog that knows they are loved and cared for.
