I’ve had dogs all my life, from rescues and fosters to energetic puppies, so caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. Since moving away from home, I’ve been getting my pup fix by dog-sitting for others while I save up for a dog of my own. I have 4+ years of dog-sitting and 2+ years of cat-sitting experience, including caring for a special needs dog, so I’m comfortable adapting to different routines, personalities, and care requirements. Whether your pup loves long walks, endless playtime, or just wants a cuddle buddy, I’ll treat them like family. I tailor my care to each pet’s unique personality and routine. I’m pretty laid-back but also love staying active, so whether your pet enjoys long walks and playtime or prefers a slower pace with plenty of cuddles, I’m happy to match their energy. I live in an apartment next to a large park, so dogs staying with me will have plenty of opportunities for safe, leashed walks and outdoor time. I don’t have any pets of my own right now, which means your pet will have my full attention in a calm, pet-free environment. When caring for pets in your home, I make it a priority to stick to their normal routine so they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

Anna has cared for our Labrador many times, both for daytime walks and overnight stays, and we highly recommend her. She is reliable, communicates well, and takes wonderful care of our dog. The minute he sees her arrive, he gets so excited and wags his whole body because he knows he’s about to get extra walks, snuggles, and attention! Anna is also very respectful of our home, helps out with the mail, cares for our plants, and always leaves everything neat and tidy. We are so lucky to have Anna!

Schedule
I currently work a hybrid schedule (in office Tuesday–Thursday), which allows me to provide flexible care throughout the week. For pets in the Loop and West Loop, I’m available for frequent visits for walks, playtime, potty breaks, feedings, and companionship all week long. For other Chicago neighborhoods, I can typically accommodate visits about every 8 hours during the workweek. Friday through Monday I’m available for as many visits as your pet needs. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away!
