Hello! I’m Anna, based in Groningen with three senior cats. I have experience with a variety of pets: from socialising shelter cats to caring for dogs through home visits and walks. I’ve also regularly looked after the dogs of friends. I enjoy playing with them and going for walks that suit their individual style (whether that’s energetic running or slow, relaxed sniffing along the way). I’m calm, patient, and attentive to each animal’s unique personality and needs. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, cuddles, or just quiet company, I’ll adapt to their rhythm and preferences. I understand the behaviours of both young and older animals, including those who need a gentle and understanding approach. I do not offer boarding at my home, but I’m happy to care for your pet at your place. I’m also comfortable giving oral medication or basic wound care if needed. Your pet's well-being is always my priority.

The most animal loving person I know! Huge experience with cats, but also familiar with dogs. I know Anna working with voluntary cat help for years. My family has had bigger and smaller dogs (Bernhardian, french bulldog), and they loved playing with Anna and jogging.

Schedule
I’m available for pet sitting almost every day, and my schedule is flexible. I’m also available on short notice. I prefer to start walks before 9:00 PM.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
During home visits, I always adapt to the pet’s comfort level. I take time to play or cuddle, and I’m happy to go on long walks if the pet enjoys that. I also take care of daily tasks like feeding, refreshing water, cleaning the litter box, or tidying up any accidents. If needed, I can administer oral medication according to instructions (as long as the pet is comfortable with it). I’m also able to assist with basic wound care. I approach every animal calmly, pay attention to their signals, and respect their individual pace.
