Information Anna Marie R. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences, I love all dog breeds! I would want to know if a pet is a door dasher, so that I know to take precautions to prevent their escape. Also, if they are taking any medications or have any health concerns, so I can monitor them more closely. I DON'T PROVIDE SERVICES in Richmond Heights, O' Fallon and surrounding area, the downtown/ city St. Louis area, St. Peters, Tower Groove, Soulard, Dogtown, The hill, Central West End & IIinois areas. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have regarding areas provide services in. I charge extra for longer distanced places from my work location. I can only do non-smoking homes. My asthma is made worse by smoke. Thank you for understanding this. I also can't do apartment buildings. Drop in visits I do drop in visits for cats or pocket pets only. I only provide in home overnight stays for Dogs. In my experience dogs don't do well with drop-in visits when an pet parent is out of town. If pet parent going on a day trip & will return that evening then I'd be comfortable doing a drop-in in visit for a dog. I also provide services for rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, gerbil, chinchillas, chickens, lizards, fish & birds. I can't do spiders or snakes.
A typical day

Knowledgeable Pet Sitter!
Pet care experience
I have provided in home pet sitting services for the past 12 years.I am responsible and have always loved all animals from the moment I knew about them. I went to college to become a Veterinary Technician. I have more knowledge to take care of your pets. Therefore, I can recognize problems if they were to arise and know what actions to take to keep your pet safe. I have experience with special needs pets. I have also graduated from Animal Behavior College, so know some training techniques. I have 2 dogs (Shih Tuz), and 4 birds (a green-cheek conure, 2 cockatiels, and a Quaker). My mom watches my fur & feathered kids while I am pet sitting yours. I am willing to watch any type of animal if you have more than dogs with the exception of spiders & snakes. I specialize in the senior dog care. Seniors are truely special & I enjoy giving them that extra attention they need. I will take care of your pets as if they where mine own pets & spoil them. My pet sitting clients become like extended family to me. I would love to take care your pets while you’re away! I look forward to hearing from you! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover as long as I can remember. I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with them. I had also known I wanted to work with animals since I was 5 years old. I love that I get to work with animals everyday and really enjoyed my career as a Veterinary Technician helping and caring for them. I have always been told that dogs trust me when they don't trust other people. I have never meet a dog that I did not like. I also worked at a doggie daycare and would supervise up to 15 dogs at a time. Through this job, I observed dog behavior and learned a lot about how dogs act and how they behave. My experience administering medication Yes, I am very comfortable giving medication. I also can give insulin shots & SQ fluids if needed. I have a Veterinary Technician background and was fully trained in giving medications. I do charge $5/day for insulin injections & SQ fluid administration.
Reviews

Anna Marie took wonderful care of our elderly English Bulldog Gideon - I highly recommend Anna Marie!

Unfortunately, our experience with Anna Marie as a dog sitter was disappointing and resulted in an initial estimate of over $3,000 in damage to our home and the inability to use our kitchen while water mitigation and repairs are conducted. The issues stemmed from a lack of attention to basic house-sitting responsibilities and awareness of the environment. Bathroom Damage: Anna Marie failed to ensure the shower curtain was placed inside the tub during use, which led to significant water damage. Floor Protection: She did not replace the towel that was meant to sit between the metal dog crate and the wood floor, luckily it did not result in scratches and further house damage. Camera Tampering: She moved the Nest Cam out of view, which meant we had no visibility of her or the dogs for the entire duration of the stay. This was a breach of trust and transparency. While Anna Marie was friendly and the dogs were safe, these oversights suggest she may not yet fully understand the responsibilities and awareness required for house and pet sitting. We hope she takes this feedback seriously and uses it as an opportunity to grow in her experience and professionalism.

We couldn’t be happier with Annie! From the very beginning, she was professional, reliable, and so loving with our pups. She took the time to learn each dog’s routine, quirks, and favorite activities, and it showed! our dogs were relaxed, happy, and well cared for when we came home. It’s clear she genuinely love animals, and our dogs could feel that! .We feel so lucky to have found someone we can trust completely. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a responsible, kind, and attentive sitter!

Anna did an amazing job with my 3 babies!! She gave me daily updates and her mom even came by during the day to help take them out. This is our 3rd time using her & we will continue to do so!
