I am responsible and have always loved all animals from the moment I knew about them. I went to college to become a Veterinary Technician. I have more knowledge to take care of your pets. Therefore, I can recognize problems if they were to arise and know what actions to take to keep your pet safe. I have experience with special needs pets. I have also graduated from Animal Behavior College and can help you with your dog training questions. I have 3 dogs (Shih Tuz), and 4 birds (a green-cheek conure, 2 cockatiels, and a Quaker). I am willing to watch any type of animal if you have more than dogs. I will take care of your pets as if they where mine own pets & spoil them. I would love to take care your pets while you’re away! I look forward to hearing from you! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover as long as I can remember. I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with them. I had also known I wanted to work with animals since I was 5 years old. I love that I get to work with animals everyday and really enjoyed my career as a Veterinary Technician helping and caring for them. I have always been told that dogs trust me when they don't trust other people. I have never meet a dog that I did not like. I also worked at a doggie daycare and would supervise up to 15 dogs at a time. Through this job, I observed dog behavior and learned a lot about how dogs act and how they behave. My experience administering medication Yes, I am very comfortable giving medication. I also can give insulin shots. I have a Veterinary Technician background and was fully trained in giving medications.

Anna did an amazing job with my 3 babies!! She gave me daily updates and her mom even came by during the day to help take them out. This is our 3rd time using her & we will continue to do so!

I make sure pets are secure in the backyard or thier cage before openings outside doors to prevent any escapes. I was a Veterinary Technician and dog trainer and watch for signs of illness & stress that your pets may have while your away. I don't advise doing walks for the first couple of stays as a safety precaution for the dog. I want the dog to be completely comfortable & trust me before going on walks.

I have no breed preferences, I love all dog breeds! I would want to know if a pet is a door dasher, so that I know to take precautions to prevent their escape. Also, if they are taking any medications or have any health concerns, so I can monitor them more closely. I provide services in Fenton, Affton, Arnold, Kirkwood, Webster Grooves, Des Peres, South County, West County, High Ridge, House Springs. There may be more not listed just contact me & I will let know. I don't provide services in Richmond Heights, O' Fallon and surrounding area, the downtown/ city St. Louis area & IIinois area. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I charge extra for longer distanced places. I can only do non-smoking homes. My asthma is made worse by smoke. Thank you for understanding this. I also can provide 1 drop in visit a day for cats and small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, ect.) while you are out of town. I don't provide drop-in visit for dogs. Dogs need more interaction and care and do better with overnight stays than with drop in visits. Dogs need more attention.
A typical day
I will try and accommodate your dog's normal routine with feeding times, walks, bed times, ect. We can go over your pets routine at our meet and greet. Extra house-sitting services Yes, I am willing to do any additional tasks that you ask. I am also willing to take care birds, cats, and small pets. Included for no extra costs: Bring in mail, packages, newspapers, take trash & recycle on pick-up days, I watch your house for any suspicious activity, pet medication/injections/supplement administration, fill outside bird feeders, & water plants

We are a daughter & mom team. I work during the day in Sunset Hills & spend the mornings, evenings & overnight with your pet. My Mom comes midday to spend time with your pets while I am at work.
