Pet care experience

Life Long Animal Lover

I've been helping ween kittens and taking care of cats since I was 5. One of my earliest pictures is next to my parents' cat when I was just six months old (we were the same height when we were both sitting). Since then I've owned and learned to take care of dogs, fish, rats, and many others! I love interacting with and learning about each species and each individual dog's personality works. I've learned how to groom dogs and can provide a free assessment if asked. I can also do cat nails and brush them out. Happy to drop off at day care or to your preferred groomer. I'm exceedingly excited to walk, sit, or anything else to make your baby happy! Please feel free to contact me with what I can do to help you and yours!

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

Every relationship starts with a free meet-and-greet. This isn't just a quick hello; it’s a professional assessment where we walk through your pet's specific medical needs, behavioral triggers, and home routines. This ensures I can provide a seamless transition that keeps your pet calm and secure. In My Home (Boarding): Your pet becomes a temporary member of my family. Safety First: I have a fully fenced-in yard in Portsmouth for secure outdoor play. Structured Environment: As a student and business owner, I maintain a predictable daily rhythm. Pets have their own dedicated quiet spaces for resting, which is essential for high-anxiety dogs or senior cats. Supervision: I am highly observant of behavior changes—a habit from my rescue training—to ensure every guest stays healthy and happy. In Your Home (Sitting & Walking): I treat your home with the same respect I treat my own. Environmental Awareness: During walks or visits, my "Rescue Diver" mindset is always active. I am constantly scanning the environment for potential hazards, reactive triggers, or safety risks. Routine Adherence: I follow your instructions to the letter. Whether it’s precise feeding times or complex medication schedules, my logistics background ensures nothing is missed. Peace of Mind: You will receive regular updates and photos so you can see exactly how your pet is thriving while you’re away.

I've used Anna several times for my cat and she has been wonderful every time. My cat loves her and runs to the door every time she comes. Anna is great with playing with her also and sending me pictures. I definitely recommend her and will absolutely use her again!

Anna is friendly and professional. She texted me regular updates over several days. My scaredy-cat was happy and healthy when I got back home. Looking forward to working with her again!

Anna was a great fit for our family. She was very knowledgeable about handling the quirks of our cats, and she was especially good with our special needs dog (a 3-legged Great Dane). She sent photos on a regular basis, and she kept us informed at all times. I’d definitely hire Anna again!

Anna was great. I have a scaredy cat and she was able to get him to warm up to her. My cats also had medication that she was able to give to the cats as well. We will definitely hire her again.

Schedule

I balance my online Economics studies at ASU with a professional logistics role, which requires a high level of organization and punctuality. Boarding & House Sitting: On my study days, I am home and available for constant companionship, frequent outdoor time, and attentive medical monitoring. Reliable Planning: I receive my weekly work roster every Wednesday and update my Rover calendar immediately. This ensures 100% transparency and reliability for our bookings. Consistency: My background as a business owner and logistics professional means I value your time and your pet's routine. Whether I am home studying or on a delivery route, your pet’s safety and schedule remain my top priority.

To provide the highest level of professional care, I prioritize a comprehensive data exchange during our initial Meet & Greet. This ensures your pet's routine remains undisturbed and their safety is guaranteed. Key details I require include: Medical & Dietary Precision: Detailed dosages for any medications (oral or injected), specific food measurements, and strict feeding schedules. Behavioral Nuances: I need to know your pet’s "leash language"—how they react to other dogs, cyclists, or wildlife. My Rescue Diver training makes me highly attuned to environmental triggers, and knowing their history helps me mitigate stress before it starts. Health Baseline: Any history of health concerns, big or small. This allows me to monitor for subtle changes in energy or behavior that might indicate they need extra support. Breed-Specific Needs: While I am comfortable with all sizes, I have extensive experience with the unique temperaments and physical requirements of Pomeranians, Dachshunds, Morkies, and Malteses. Providing these details upfront allows me to focus 100% on your pet’s well-being and enrichment from the moment the service begins.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
