I’ve been dog watching all my life. Golden Retrievers have been my family’s breed of choice and my current girl, Daisy, has just turned 14. I will admit to having a long dog training run as a kid and teenager; any of the family dogs I could get a hold of were taken to obedience and agility classes religiously. The best part of college breaks are when I’m employed to care for the pets of family and friends when they go on vacation. This sometimes includes upwards of four dogs at once (and even some cats for good measure). The environment can be fairly hectic, but just as happy as they are to see their owners return, they are just as willing to come back.
