Hi there! I’m Anna, an Upper West Sider and lifetime animal lover. I’ve been casually caring for pets of friends and acquaintances for years and just realized I could make a very happy part time job out of it. Currently I spend most of my time doing volunteer work for a community garden, so I’m generally available, very responsive, and known to be reliable. I’d like to provide a fun, personalized time for your best friend so I am available for 1-2 dogs per walk as well as sitting and boarding on a case by case basis (for the safety of my own furry best friend).

Anna was absolutely amazing with our husky during the two weeks we were out of the country. We have traveled quite a bit over the years, so Whale has stayed with a number of different Rover sitters and families, and I can genuinely say that Anna was probably the best person we have ever boarded her with. From the very beginning, it was obvious how much Anna truly loves dogs and how much she cared about making Whale happy and comfortable. She went above and beyond in so many ways — she bought Whale toys, took her on trips to Petco, and made sure she was getting plenty of attention, activity, and love. What I appreciated most was the communication. Every single day, Anna sent us pictures, videos, and thoughtful, detailed messages telling us what they had been doing and how Whale was doing. Being out of the country for two weeks, that kind of communication gave us so much peace of mind. We never once had to wonder whether Whale was okay or whether she was being well cared for. Whale very clearly became part of Anna’s family while she was there, rather than simply being a dog she was boarding. You can tell that Anna genuinely enjoys spending time with the dogs in her care, and that makes such a huge difference. We could not have asked for a better experience. Anna is incredibly caring, attentive, communicative, and trustworthy, and we would leave Whale with her again without hesitation. If you are looking for someone who will genuinely love and care for your dog while you are away, I cannot recommend Anna highly enough. Truly an exceptional Rover sitter!
Anna was absolutely amazing!! She showed Wally so much love and took such good care of him and communication was amazing, I felt so safe and secure with her and he seemed so sad to leave her. Would absolutely recommend Anna!!!
Anna was amazing with my girl Tonya! I could not recommend someone more! Tonya had a long stay with Anna and anna followed all of our care instructions perfectly and sent many updates and pictures! She made sure our girl stayed safe during the heat wave and bad air quality as well!

Anna is the best. She was so patient and kind with my kitty. She made Vienna feel so comfortable and she kept me updated on her stay. Vienna has found her new home away from home ❤️
Anna is an incredible and deeply responsible caregiver! She watched my two cats, Chloe and Leo, and gave me total peace of mind while I was away. She didn’t just handle the basics like feeding and scooping; she truly showered them with love, attention, and playtime. Chloe and Leo adore her, and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I have an extremely flexible schedule that is on a volunteer basis so I will generally have as much time to spend on your pets as desired.

Happy to follow whichever instructions you have set for your home (and for mine, if boarding) and will water your plants upon request! My own home is a moderately sized one-bedroom for myself and my cat Winnie. There are stairs, so boarding may mot be feasible for senior dogs who can’t be carried up.

I’d love to go on nice long walks in the park and I’m sure your buddy does too! I’m no runner, but I can keep up a fast walk for high energy dogs, or a nice leisurely stroll for the little guys. For sitting and boarding, I’m up for lots of games, toys, and snuggles. They are very welcome on my couch.
