I work from home and make my own schedule, so replicating your pup’s routine during their stay is relatively easy for me. Typically, I aim for 3-4 walks per day, and make sure your pup has something to do if I’m working (I have sniff matts, lick mats, and a variety of toys and puzzles, so there is plenty of choices), feeding is twice daily (unless indicated otherwise) and I try not to leave the pup at home (again, unless requested) so they often accompany me on errands, to meals with friends and sometimes even on a short trip to the seaside (with prior permission of course). I send frequent updates with pictures and videos (1-2 times a day+), so you always know what your fur baby is getting up to.

I live alone with no pets or kids in a high security building (only residents are allowed beyond the lobby), it is designed to be dog friendly - there are complementary treats and a roof garden with a doggy playground, so weather permitting, I try to make it up there at least once a day to run around and give your dog a bit of off lead time. I also have plenty of experience with special needs dogs. This includes behavioural - for instance pups that suffer with severe separation anxiety or are extremely reactive and require special care when interacting with other animals - and physical needs. I’m competent in taking care of dogs with limited mobility, for example I’ve looked after pups recovering from IVDD, and can administer physio, know how to help with bladder extraction and I’m comfortable administering medication. I will always make sure to prioritise your pup’s health, comfort and safety. In my home, dogs are allowed on all furniture, and I have additional beds for them around the flat for maximum comfort. They are very welcome to share my bed at night (in fact most of them do!), unless you prefer otherwise (for instance if they are crate trained). For longer stays (every 3 weeks unless indicated otherwise) or on muddy days, I will bathe and dry your pup at no extra cost. My philosophy is always to care for your dog as I would after my own.

Please let me know if your pup has any special needs so I can best accommodate them! Also very happy to meet them in advance if you’re local, to make sure they are comfortable - it’s something I always offer new clients, but I’m new to Rover and hope the platform allows this
Ein typischer Tag
Typically, we start the day with a walk (30-45mins depending on doggy preference) and breakfast, followed by nap time then play / enrichment activity (I really enjoy teaching new tricks, and have plenty of toys, a sniff mat, and puzzles, and sometimes I make my own). Over lunch, we go for another walk (30 mins) and it’s usually more social and gives my guest a chance to connect with other furry friends in the building if they’d like, or slower paced to let them explore the environment - I change routes often which keeps things interesting! Around 5pm, there’s dinner followed by play time on the roof, where we have a large doggy playground and your pup can go off lead. It’s a great space to play fetch, learn new tricks with playground activity stations or just run around and get the energy out. After that if you have a high energy / working breed dog we usually go for a longer walk (~60mins), or come home straight home and wind down (for older dogs or smaller less active breeds evening playtime on the roof is more than enough). The rest of the evening it’s cuddle and belly rub time for the pup while I read or listen to a podcast, followed by a quick toilet walk right before bed. If they need a little help settling (often happens with younger guests :) I have a lick mat with frozen yogurt/pb handy, which usually helps them power down. On the weekends, the schedule isn’t too different, but we spend a lot more time outdoors, and I especially love to visit the neighbouring Mudchute Farm which is dog friendly, as well as venturing out to Victoria and Greenwich Park. Sometimes I also like to attend dog-friendly film screenings. My weekend tradition is also taking my furry lodgers out for a puppuccino or a dog cookie!

I grew up around dogs of all sizes, from gentle giants like Golden Retrievers and Great Danes to our much smaller (and much sassier) Yorkies - so being around dogs has always just felt like home to me. After moving to London, I started dog boarding because I missed that companionship (and wasn’t quite ready to get my own). Over the past couple of years, it’s naturally grown into something I really love, and I’ve been lucky to build a lovely group of returning clients. I’ve looked after puppies through to older dogs, and my current little “pack” includes a Golden Retriever, two Dachshunds, a Pug, a Cavapoo and a Cockapoo - all with their own personalities and routines, which I always try to get to know properly and replicate in my home. During your pup’s stay I’ll send regular updates - they will enjoy walks, enrichment activities, good quality treats, and lots and lots of attention / belly rubs). Anna was absolutely wonderful with my Shih Tzu Bozo. He was treated like a little king, treats, toys, snuggly blanket.. we couldn't have asked for a better daycare and boarding option! She was extremely organized, sent lots of pictures and videos and learnt about his temperment, likes and dislikes in less than a day. Anna is a true dog lover who truly treats your pet as if they were her own! Wholeheartedly recommend her! xx
Anna took care of Kumo for an extended weekend while we were attending a wedding abroad. She was fantastic! Even before the stay, she was incredibly thoughtful and thorough, and asked all the right questions to make sure Kumo’s stay would be as comfortable as possible. While we were away she gave frequent updates with photos, videos, and delightful anecdotes of their adventures. It genuinely felt like we didn’t miss a beat. We’re so happy to have found her!
Anna has been looking after our dog when we’ve gone away on weekends over the last year. She is so caring of our dog who has a tendency to suffer from separation anxiety. She takes her out on regular walks and makes her feel at home. She sends me photos so I know she is well and settling in. Anna was an amazing dog sitter. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. From the moment we met her, it was obvious that she was patient and caring, which immediately put us at ease. She took great care of Luna, making sure all routines were followed and giving her plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. We also really appreciated the updates and photos she shared.
