Ever since I was little I've had a special place in my heart for dogs. Now, I'd like to offer you and your dog a special place in my home! My goal with Canine Comforts is to help you, the owner, feel at ease about leaving your pet in the care of someone else. Whether for a day or a couple weeks, I strive to provide a safe, secure, fun home away from home for your pet. My flexibility allows me to cater to the needs of you and your pet specifically. Hello, I'm Anna. I'm a stay-at-home mom with two boys (Cole 13 yrs and Keagan 16 yrs) and a huge heart for dogs! My kids and I just love throwing the ball in the yard and snuggling with our furry friends. I've hosted many different dogs in my home and keep adding to that each year! I not only have a deep passion and love for dogs but also a good working knowledge of breeds, behavior, and problem-solving. I do not claim to be an expert or a professional but I work hard to expand my knowledge with every dog I encounter as well as seek out sources of information whenever I can. My backyard is fully enclosed by a 3ft chain link fence. I will gladly take up to 3 dogs from one owner. **All dogs must be potty trained please **We own chickens. They are kept secure away from dogs.

Anna was super sweet to our little dog Penny. Penny is a bit shy/nervous and Anna made her feel right at home. My dog does not always like to run and play with the other dogs but there was always a place she could hang back a bit when she didn't feel like participating. Anna sent photos and updates of Penny's stay which made me feel very comfortable as we don't leave her often so tend to be over bearing parents when we do. LOL Anna was super organized and checked in with us the day before Penny's stay to ensure our times were in sync. and would respond quickly when I did reach out. I will be using Anna again.
Anna was great! She sent so many photos and seemed to mesh with my dog really well! He gave her lots of kisses as he left, we will use Anna again for boarding!
Anna was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Tony B, over a long weekend. We had never left Tony before, so we were a little nervous, but Anna made the whole experience so easy and reassuring. She sent tons of pictures and updates, communicated promptly, and was very clear about expectations and anything Tony might need. Her home is perfectly set up for overnight pet guests, and the yard is ideal. Tony got plenty of individual attention, got along great with Anna’s dogs, and clearly had a fantastic time. He was happy to see us when we picked him up, but it was obvious he had been comfortable, safe, and well cared for the whole weekend. Anna clearly has a ton of experience and asked thoughtful questions that we would not have even thought of. We could not recommend her more highly and will absolutely have Tony stay with Anna again the next time we are out of town.
Our dog was happy when we picked him up, and it seemed like he had a lot of fun during his stay. We really appreciated the photo updates. The yard is very nice and spacious for dogs run and play. We’d be happy to book again!

Schedule
I'm a stay-at-home mom, so my days and schedule are free and flexible for my clients. If a flight is delayed or plans change at the last minute, I can easily accommodate you.

I have a large fenced yard and 2 lively dogs of my own to be furry companions to your dog. I have plenty of room for crates but also allow trustworthy dogs to be free in the house when I run errands and at night.

A typical day
We love to throw a tennis ball in the yard or go for walks through our 3 acres of land. Belly rubs are a given!
