I spend overnights on bookings at your home. Usually I stay there 24 hours a day and only pop out for an hour on the third day to see my cats. Dogs love it and will usually sleep with me as do the cats. When I do a hotel booking, I go to your hotel and hang out with your dog. Giving them reassurance when there is loud noises from the hallways. Very good with dogs that have anxiety. Take them for safe walks away from other dogs so they may have bathroom breaks. I am fully comfortable with cameras and ring doorbells. I do what I say and will treasure your furry family member. I have two tuxie cats at home and sadly my elderly pug passed away. I'm still not over it. I also take care of my elderly parents and my mom has Alzheimers. I do not book more than 30 days out or outside of the valley to ensure I can commit.

I do not care for pets in my home as my two tuxie kitties would not be happy about that. I have a lot of experience with chickens. Love lizards. Like snakes but I don't think I could feed them a frozen or live mouse. Birds are included. I once caught and rescued a budgie. Run it by me and see what I say. I will keep your animals safe and even have fire/earthquake emergency plans in place if necessary to transport your animal to a safe area. My repeat score is very low because I do hotel sitting for people that may be in the valley for an event or wedding. So it is one time booking.

The type and number of dogs as well as disposition. Any health concerns of things that they are reactive to (leash reactive). If local then we will discuss who is your current vet and any medications. I also promise in the event of wildfire that I will evacuate your animal or do anything within my power to get them and take them to a safe location. I prefer written instructions for meal times and amounts given.
A typical day
I will arrive at your hotel to meet you and your pet. I will play, snuggle, watch, walk or protect your pet while you enjoy your stay in Santa Ynez Valley. No clawing furniture or barking going on while you are away so you can enjoy your stay. I am the fun event. I can take them to the dog park or even to just a park where they can walk without having to interact with other dogs if leash reactive.

Ask me for rates as what comes up here may be too high. DROP IN RATE: is geared for hotel pet sitting. I will come to your hotel and sit with your pet and make sure they are happy and comforted while you go out and enjoy your evening or your day event. I also do drop in for cats (cleaning litter box, food, and play) but contact me as my rate is less. I usually get back to someone very quickly. IN YOUR HOUSE: I do pet sitting in your house. I will spend the night there and be there about 90% of the time. (I do need to do some errands sometime). Your pet will be comforted to sleep in their own home and follow their own routine. I almost always do a meet and greet. Right now this is my job so I am focused on your pets. If you have an unusual request - go ahead and run it by me. I am only pet sitting in the greater Santa Ynez family as I do need to check in on elderly family members. I do not care for pets in my home as my two tuxie kitties would not be happy about that. Sadly, my pug passed away so she no longer comes on my hotel pet sitting. Maybe you just need house sitting and nothing else. Anna is wonderful and a lifesaver! Great communication and she took very good care of my (slightly anxious) dog!
She was on time and friendly. She sent me some photos of our pup and messages during 7hr sitting at our hotel while we were at a wedding. Glad I found her after our first sitter cancelled last minute even though we booked her 2-3 mo ago.
This was our first booking with Anna and there will definitely be more. She took good care of our 3 dogs and cat while we went away for two nights. She is very professional, organized, knowledgeable and compassionate. She sent pictures of our happy pet family and all was well. We highly recommend her.
Always a pleasure to have Anna watch our babies. She’s great with communication and loves our doggies as her own. Highly recommend.
