Part Time Intern/Full Time Dog Fan
Hi, my name's Anna! I'm a huge fan of both dogs and cats, as well as most other animals. I've been around dogs for my whole life, from Chihuahuas to Saint Bernards. Currently my family owns a Labradoodle but prior to that we had a Portuguese Water Dog. I've taken care of all sorts of animals for friends and neighbors, like cats, dogs, fish, chameleons, and more. I was on my high school's track team so I'm happy to run with dogs that need that over a walk. I am very good with dogs that have a harder time warming up to new people, my own dog gets very nervous even just going for walks sometimes, so I know many strategies to help dogs feel more comfortable. Additionally, I do have experience with older dogs that may need special care. I love all kinds of dogs, but I definitely have a soft spot for pit bulls and any type of sheepdog. I also love cats and really understand the difference in care they need when compared to dogs.

I have experience with dogs of all sizes, so I feel comfortable in tons of different situations. I feel comfortable crating dogs, adapting to dogs' specialized dietary needs and more. I've also been working with Rover on and off since I was in high school, so I'm very familiar with the app and the safety features they provide

Anna regularly sits for my Icelandic Sheepdog, Tilly, and cat, Jim. She does a great job with both of them, whether its for a few hours or a few days. She's very flexible with her schedule, and is happy to go check on them during her free periods if I need her in a pinch. Tilly and Jim always seem excited to see her, and she's always enthusiastic about sitting for them. She has a particular talent with keeping Jim in the house, even with his tendency to make a break for it as soon as the door opens.
