Please let me know if your pet is social, if he or she has any medical or dietary needs, and if your dog is up to date on their required vaccinations. For example, preventing bordetella (kennel cough), rabies and ticks is so important. Please also let me know their preferences and activity level, if they’re spayed/neutered (I’m unable to care for intact dogs) and what your instructions are for any vet visits if it is necessary. Lastly, please let me know if your pet is reactive, anxious or aggressive and what their triggers are, if any. Does your dog have separation anxiety? For the safety and comfort of all dogs in my care during overnight boarding and daycare, I’m unable to accept doggies who are not socialized, as well as large, high-energy or working breeds such as Huskies, Border Collies, German or Australian Shepherds, Terriers or dogs with strong guarding or fighting instincts. Health and safety comes first. I will care for your loved pet according to your instructions and care needs. I will ensure they are safe and comfortable. I will ensure your fur child gets lots of socialization. I walk my own dog 3-4 times a day and will walk yours as well. I love nature walks and we have lovely ponds/parks/nature trails nearby. In addition, my Lab, my clients’ dogs and I play with dog toys and balls in my fenced backyard. In the summertime, if you dog likes water we enjoy our nearby splash pad or our rare but oh so special cottage getaways.
