My husband and I have alternating schedules. So dogs in our home are normally only left for 4 hours a day. One day a week they may spend 8 hours on there own. We do 3 walks a day about .8 of a mile.

We have 2 very friendly dogs, they enjoyed having new friends come to stay. When we have other dogs over and crate our dogs and will crate, or leave our guest out depend on how they do. We have a fenced yard and do meal time in crates to make sure everyone has there own space to eat.

My dogs love all other dogs, but we do need to do a meet and greet before staying. Let me know if you dog has any specific needs or if our schedule is different than theirs.
A typical day
We have a fully fenced back yard, and 3 floors with carpeted stairs. We love play time! We also have about 5 miles of wooded tails behind our house so if it isn't muddy we love to walk back there. Our days are very routine. Wake up 6:30, go out back for a poddy brake, breakfast and a walk at 7. They go our in that yard for another poddy brake before we leave. Walk at 4:30 when I get home from work. Dinner at 7, and a walk at 8:30 before bed.

I grew up with dogs, cats, bunnies, mice, chickens, fish, and sheep. I love all animals with fur! I currently have 2 huskies, and have had a Great Pyrenees, Great Daine, and Corgi. I love all dogs and have done a lot of dog sitting for friends, family and acquaintances. I love there dogs like my own. I also have a lot of experience giving dogs medication.
