Privileged to work with multiple professional trainers over the years for our own dogs, I am well experienced with training collars, special diets, allergies, canine toxic foods, bloat prevention, and more. My villa is very well maintained yet comfy, alarm protected, and dog safety proofed. We prefer a meet & greet prior to the reservation start date to ensure a good fit for all and build a calming familiarity for your dog.

Please fully complete your pet's Rover profile including up-to-date immunization and flea/tick protection records, feeding specifications, daily routine, vet information, and any special needs instructions before submitting a boarding request. Also, note that our home insurance limits breed types. Thus, we are unable to board breeds such as Doberman, Pit Bull, Akita, Chow, Belgian Malinois, and similar assertive breeds.
A typical day
As an early riser, the day normally begins at 5am and last walk is approximately 8pm. Mealtime is 530am and 430pm. Breakfast, coffee, and play begins on our peaceful screened in porch while listening to local birds. Walks are every 2-3 hours and may include a short trip to the beach!

Greetings, Beachy Paws Staycations is a boutique boarding service, for the highly selective pet parent, that is less than 2 miles from the oceanfront and centrally located between Ocean Isle and Sunset Beach. NOTE: As an educator, SCHOOL IS BACK IN for 2025-26, availability is weekends and Brunswick County public elementary school breaks only until summer. My services uniquely combine a lifelong love of dogs and the ocean! Alongside my gentle Shih Tzu, your pup will be fully immersed into a loving family and all we do! Early morning beach walks are always a favorite! To best support your dog's established routines and ensure ultra personalized care, reservation timeframes are limited to one family with one to two dogs. As a local educator with 30+ years of in-depth experience working with a wide variety of dog breeds, you can expect a knowledgeable, safe, loving environment filled with lots of pampering and fun. Anna took great care of our Schnauzers and they loved being part of Anna's pack! She gained the trust of our pups very quickly and gave great updates, pics, and videos. Anna loves our Dolly like she is family. We are always so comfortable and worry free when we are away because Anna is taking care of our girl. Wish I could give 10 stars!
Cannot say enough good things about Anna. We were nervous leaving our dog for the first time with someone other than family, but Anna treated her just like family from the get-go. Anna was very attentive to our dog's needs and sent lots of updates and pics. Will definitely book with her again!
